Quite astonishing he watched the fa cup game and thought the best way to approach this was the exact same way as the first half of that, not the second half or something like it where we got in their faces and pushed them back a bit. Classic PFM cowardly bullshit.

this sentence should end the bruce argument, that's it right there

agreed, looks much more comfortable as a straight FB rather than WB

But again you're being selective. Beating Chelsea at home. Great. Beating Man Utd at home. Great. Drawing with City. Great. Only losing 3 games at home. Great. Take the loss and go to bed. Night. despite my personal feelings about bruce, which have softened somewhat over the season, what many of us said was that his football was and is unsustainable as evidenced by those ludicrous stats we saw earlier in the season if you can't see a problem with a breadline team like us not beating the shit at the bottom but getting shock results against the richer teams to survive then not sure anyone is going to be able to help you by common consensus it's been a terrible season for the usual suspects at the top of the table, and we've got a number of results we're very unlikely to repeat next season if he's still about also look at this "great restart" we've had, unless ASM is ripping teams up to fuck on his own or they're getting themselves sent off or gifting us goals we're just not winning them...bruce hasn't improved the system, he's just given them more freedom and that's going to result in more erratic results long term imo

Are we taking that as a bad sign that he has had to try and get involved to get this done ? Think it's the opposite to be honest How so ? They will be meeting him possibly to clarify and finalise some details and rubber stamp the deal. Why do you think it's a negative? Probably ties into that tweet from Ben Jacobs the other day saying they wanted clarity on the role of that knacker who tweeted "just email iz lol" about piracy. He said they wanted to clarify his role in PIF and potential involvement with nufc.

Matty Longstaff (now playing for Toronto FC)
mrmojorisin75 replied to toontownman's topic in Football
We have offered him a £25k p/w contract, no? But he wants £30k. to match what he's been offered abroad right, he's not just being awkward...signing on fee probably better in the italian deal as well with the tiny fee -
you did well but i hate myself for listening to the end, fucking hell it's like a show for nursery level kids or summit

Strong chance Bacon's light touch and letting the players be isn't his thing, might need a more detailed manager to push and direct him.

Would love a PPV option as that would be a lot more cost effective for me than ordering a package with a lot of matches and channels I don't watch or use. However I think it would be more ammunition for the bigger clubs to claim more of the TV money when they can show to increased buy rates to their matches compared to smaller teams which again would make things more uneven then they already are so I am a bit torn on whether it's a good or bad idea. This is the problem with PPV, or at least the perceived problem. Brighton would end up getting far less revenue than Man U, especially under that model, so the majority of smaller clubs will always vote against the few larger clubs to prevent this. I don't know the solution, but I know trying to charge me hundreds of pounds to watch a few matches with Sky then a few hundred more to watch a few more matches on BT isn't acceptable to me. Well you could still centralise the revenue tbf, in that example. Because people are paying more to watch "bigger" games doesn't mean the money goes direct to the clubs involved.

This is me as well, my Virgin Tivo box wasn't plugged in for about 2 years, only just told them to take it off my contract, literally never got used. Feel absolutely no remorse at streaming given the ridiculous prices and the number of providers you need to pay for a fraction of the games, whether they're available on legitimate platforms or not. I remember paying about £110 for everything for about 2 month before I came to my senses, they add extra for fucking HD ffs Nah, I don't feel a shred of guilt. Fuck them.

no, it was covered in the athletic article on Klopp, it was a medical issue about their concerns over the repair of an old injury apparently he'd been photo'd in the shirt, done interviews and everything but the LFC medical team pulled it That's the official reason, plenty of reports said otherwise doing a quick search. The agent asked for more money right at the end of the deal. https://liverpooloffside.sbnation.com/2019/10/11/20909294/former-nabil-fekir-agent-ashamed-of-true-reason-behind-failed-liverpool-transfer-rumors-real-betis no reason both aren't true i guess

as nuts as that post is i was thinking this morning what happens if a good few clubs in L1 & L2 hit the wall due to the rona? they can't surely dock them all 12 points

has he brought in a new coach or read a book on tactics during the lockdown or summit last couple of games he's definitely doing things i didn't think he was capable of understanding never mind executing i've also been shocked at how fit and sharp the players look, would have put money on us being the most unfit and underprepared team in the league

On the NUST thing I'd personally have like to have seen an opinion thrown in as well, along the lines of We got a response, thanks, and we're confident from it that things are being fairly done Or We got a response and it's so opaque that we're not confident that the process is fair and reasonable However you word it What's to lose? If the response tells you the PL are playing at cunts what's to lose by telling people? If the response tells you they're good guys nothing to lose by saying it. Nothing confidential has to be revealed

No, didn't say he was linked to the piracy, it said he was the one who issued the Saudi response to the WTO report (i.e. email-gate) I'm pretty sure this was the same guy named in the WTO report specifically mind Pretty sure nobody was named in the report as being specifically linked to the piracy. It only mentioned Saudi parties with no actual names . there was 100% a SA individual named in the report EDIT: i'm wrong was a different guy i think, Saud Al-Qahtani
