Someone should put Pardew's performance in sales terms for Ashley, i.e. one of his shops has great sales figures during the Christmas holiday but then consistently has the worst figures until the next holiday. The response of the store/regional manager is to ask for more public holidays Wonder how long they'd last at sports direct.

'Naahh shite Colback, i wouldn't buy him...Oh wait, he's free! We'll take him'.........And people want to get ourselves away from mid table mediocrity Replacement for Gosling get on with it, don't care as his fitness is better and we need the Ingerlunders. If he's coming as a starting midfielder it's grounds to start a riot tbh.

Estimated weight gain Kevin Phillips got me real good

Buy me out of trouble again please Mike. Absolute joke of a manager. Agreed. Basically saying that it's only players fault that the team is not performing well enough. If I was Ashley before considering new signings I'd make him give me a presentation on what measures he specifically took in the bad run last season and during the current run, what changes he made in line ups and personnel and what he expected to achieve with each one vs. the actual results. I'd also want to know what he got out of De Jong since he came too and why it didn't work. Then I'd fire the cunt with immediate effect.

I'd not seen that photo before, the shush thing was in the heat of the moment after he'd had stick on the pitch presumably so could look past it but for him to take that photo... I'm displeased.

That 2nd spell when we weren't scoring goals or winning matches - one thing will always stay etched in my mind. He insisted that the players keep passing the ball and not give in to fear of the consequences because as manager he would accept full responsibility for results. That is football coaching at it's finest. That was some of his most impressive stuff for me. It was a horrible run and they couldn't get out of it, but as you say he would never let them resort to pardball.

Fucking excellent Jordan -
Yes, that's a bad start to a terrible thread I loved Gabbiadini and Quinn, but they're not in the same class as Shearer and Beardsley. this is not a go at you but the fact that you actually had to go in writing to state it, the fact that anyone would need to, tells me there’s something very very wrong in the world somewhere
-
I keep singing that to 'hes got the whole world in his hands' for some reason same here, even though i read what tune it should be
-
if he’s not going to go gracefully, or at all, i’d like to think he’d end up losing all of the money he ploughed into us somehow like
-
Wasn't aware that this was the main criteria for good managers. You should get on the phone to Bayern Munich and make sure they get rid of Pep asap. In fact you can call Chelsea and Real Madrid while you're at it.

Yes it made a lot of sense to go for Moyes when he was managing a better team than us and there wasn't a hope in hell of him coming to us Missed the part about his contact expiring?
-
Probably something in this, perhaps stuck to his principals too much at Wigan when being more pragmatic at times was required. The impressive thing with him is how he's stepped up a level so confidently so soon.
-
the only time “going for moyes” makes sense to me is last season when he was coming out of contract and pardle was doing his utmost to relegate us

that OP could surely have more in it? what was the record he broke last season, longest streak without a win or something, worst PL points return? checking back again from WHU on 11th November up to and including the reading game we played: 16 games, won 2, lost 12, drew 2…3 cup games in there mind so points-wise 39/8 (20.5%) current run is 18 games from arsenal on is won 4, lost 13, drew 1…1 cup game here so points 51/13 (25.5%), including of course the 5 straight losses
