i disagree with this entirely tbh - while there were some mitigating circumstances for our predicament pardew exposed himself far too openly and laid out all of his horrendous failings publicly for all to see i still stand by it as the worst managerial performance in my 20+ years watching NUFC, he had absolutely nothing in the fight man; no ideas, no tactical changes, no positional changes, no way to get the players to fight for the club, nothing whatsoever except complaining about europe and wanting more players in janaury he was exposed for what he is, an absolute fucking fraud, and should have been sacked countless times that season

really don't see them doing shit 'til they jettison moyes myself, he simply doesn't have the aura of a man who is going to step up a few levels as quickly as they need him too

2014 FIFA World Cup Brasilâ„¢ - Europe vs. America

or this bloke martino just isn't cut out for the top level Or Guardiola took over the team with Iniesta, Messi and Xavi at his prime. Credit where it's due, but I think Martino isn't at fault for Xavi, Messi, Iniesta not caring enough about the smaller games. I mean we've seen what they can do against both Real and Man City. Obviously a manager has to be at fault for not motivating his players enough but they quite frankly just don't give a s*** at the moment and I can't put that on Martino. if you say so, on the other hand you could look at it like real employed a top class manager with a history of proven success at the top level in european competition with the highest level of footballer, barcelona most certainly did not employ that calibre of manager and they're being rewarded for it imho Only 2 months ago Barcelona was sitting a top the league with not one defeat and highest total points that far in the league ever. Without Messi and everyone was praising Tata for playing a different brand of football than they've been used too. Now, they lose couple as soon as Messi is back in the team and it's all Tata's fault? Just two weeks ago they beat Man City convincingly away from home. I think it's better to judge Tata when the season is over. If he's won nothing then he will surely have to go as it's unacceptable. As for now they've won the Supercopa with him, will play Copa del Rey final and are almost a given for the quarter-finals of the Champions League. It's just the league where he's failed at the moment and for me it's very clear that it's down to the players at the moment. There's not one player doing a bit of running or so on. I don't buy that. Real Madrid have by far the best squad with the most depth in La Liga. I don't think it's all down to Carlo that they're there. They've spent wisely, brought in Isco, Illarramendi, Bale and Carvajal. urgh wrote a reply that failed to post, fuck it can't be arsed now

yep, and pardew has had one his entire tenure with us - wonder how long that run can last? the moment he doesn't have a striker hitting the ground running with consistent goals we will be in serious f***ing trouble like suppose the alternative view may be that he's making these players score goals consistently, but that's not for me Best, Ba, Cisse, Ba again, Remy...I think the way he plays does gear towards one regular scorer mind. the point being he's had players who were capable of meeting the quota the entire time, with the exception of the time between ba leaving and remy arriving can we do it again and find another striker capable of 15-20 goals on poor service? big ask tbh

point missed tbh

just seen the neymar thing with the little lad, fucking ace

ketsbaia, lee, barton and so on...no idea if they're any fucking good but one thing is for sure, we'd be approaching games in the right way and not bending over for fucking sunderland time after time
-
well said rob lee would love to see a load of keegans ex-players back at the club coaching and on the staff, plus people like ketsbaia or some of those who played under robson that type of connection could do wonders at the club, alas it'll never happen
-
maybe his request for a personal hearing is to make the ban 20 matches, but only applicable to games vs. sunderland that'd do me, seeing as he's not likely to get fired or executed

2014/15 NUFC Kits - New third kit revealed on page 143
mrmojorisin75 replied to bowlingcrofty's topic in Football
was talking to someone the other day about the kits being reduced to 16 quid in sports direct or something, apparently some people are clinging to the idea that this means ashley is selling the club -
good post imo and sums up my feelings, there's a cold cynicism about the way the club is run that was never present in the past or at least certainly wasn't as noticeable, as badly as the club was ran at times i felt that the people running it would have chased success if they had the money/weren't bad at it...i honestly can't think of another example of a top tier football team being ran the way we are anywhere in the world, would like to hear if there is one football is the richest it's ever been and we're in the richest division in the world, yet we're being ran the way we are through nothing other than cold, (external) business-driven factors and probably a fair degree of hatred from ashley towards the fans
-
agree with wullie again, don't give a fuck about the format of the EL as a club we should be chasing it as a minimum every season and proud to be in it when we get there, not crying about it a year after we were knocked out
-
they're gonna have to spend some amount of money in the summer like, on top of the 65m or whatever they've already just spent
-
He was one talking about pardiola, one talking about kinnear i think

wasn't barrett's main point of contention that the magistrate told him anyone would be banned for an act of violence from the hull stadium because the city of hull wouldn't tolerate it? i'd say he's got a point, pardew could have been treated the same way and banned from hull's stadium and it wouldn't have cost him his job directly
-
You suggested Pardew is average at best. I was asking you who do you want and where we could finish, which you have now answered. But I have to disagree with that you think our squad is capable of top 4. Dunno about anyone else, but I did not expect this development. possibly the most insane post i've seen in some time Didn't want to be blunt, I don't know people well enough on here to know whether they are being sarcastic or not. sorry. i think i read the post wrong initially, i have no idea what's going on now
