Or go back to what he knows and got us results last season. he doesn't have ba to throw the ball at anymore, plus the players have clearly found him out like most other people now if he could go back to last year don't you think he'd have done so by now? it's not like we're losing 'cause he's sticking to some principle or trying to make a long-term change to the way we play...we're losing 'cause he's fucking terrible
-
If this joker stays they need to work on an ultra-defensive 4-5-1 and go to draw every remaining game. Pardew is incapable of anything else IMO. One or two draws might just be enough. QPR will bury us if we try to play them.
-
always with the ultra-negativity wullie, we lost a point but we gained a fuckton of exposure in the press...you need to learn how sell things dude
-
problem with wigan vs. villa is it's at home for them...if they were going to villa i'd be more confident...hope for us could lie in the mackems beating villa, they could seriously struggle if they lose that looking at their fixtures
-
not going back to find when i posted it but i said a while back can him and appoint carver to the end of the season...the squad need a lift now that can only come from either (a) a big/confident win or (b) relieving the dead weight of a manager from them we're not getting (a) so taking a chance on (b) is alls we've got...don't agree with bringing anyone new in with 3 games to go tbh unless it was a long-term target they had in mind either way
-
whatever way you look at the remaining fixtures it's hard not to conclude we're going down unfortunately...only thing in our favour is probably wigan being in the cup final
-
awful seeing everyone turn on each other in here, seems to have become irretrievable now...unfortunately there's one common denominator: we don't win football matches sack the manager please and appoint someone who can win football matches the end
-
if we stay up sissoko 'cause his 4 game (or whatever it was) burst on arriving will turn out to have basically kept us up
-
well, again sorry to disappoint but i didn't specifically refer to anita nor do i feel it's relevant if someone else was in for him or not last summer, all it takes a coach to take a shine to him ffs
-
yeah the money thing doesn't really hold that much water for me, plenty of clubs around the world pay good money it's not like we're the only ones players will get sick of this bollocks if things are shite again next season, if they start winning while playing shit again though they may carry on, wins change a lot

What are you judging him on if not this season? He wasn't exactly the standout player at Ajax. You make it sound like we got the new Wesley Sneijder off them and subsequently benched him. He wasn't, isn't and never will be anything more than a fairly solid if unspectacular player. He wasn't what we needed in the summer at all, both in terms of position and required quality, and I said so at the time. i never said he'd be a world beater did i? You didn't use those words, but at the very least you implied he should be in our first team based on his quality and characteristics and our villain manager was not giving him a fair chance. Again, what are you basing this on? i bolded it for you, thought that would cover it...look you're the expert on dutch football so i can't argue, as stated i think he's got attributes that could see him succeed in the PL when put in the right team...and when he was the onlly decent player we had during that horrific run he looked like he should be in and about the first team to me but yeah, dan gosling, jonas and perch pls

ah, well, i wouldn't play him as a DM personally that's probably where we differ
-
His defence is a huge letdown. I want Anita to start as well but I know defensively he isn't up for it. that's where you'd hopefully have a football manager capable of improving that side of his game and/or having the tactical nouse to protect him
-
anyone judging anita on this season and his performances under pardew haven't a fucking clue he's got pace, movement, technical ability and passing range...stick him in liverpools team no-one would be talking about his physique imo

ignoring the fact that pandering to ba was arguably a massive reason for us being in this shambolic mess to begin with

my mate can't/won't accept that it's pardew...he can't accept that playing well for say 45 minutes, decent football and score a goal then the reversion to hoofball is anything but the players i don't claim to understand it, it doesn't make sense on any level the way we fall apart -

Better side in the first half, scored early and created a few decent chances while WBA gifted a 1-on-1 to Cisse which he fluffed over the bar when it was easier to score. Second half absolutely dire from the first minute, they bombarded us while we hoofed it away and made no attempt to hang onto the ball for longer than about 4 seconds. We weathered the storm after conceding a poor equaliser, [/b]kicked it long at Shola whilst HBA got 20 minutes and I'm not sure he touched the ball.[/b] Think Villa away but without a 2 goal lead. so was it a clear and obvious change in tactics from pardioa to hoof it long and hang onto the lead then? read about cabaye looking pissed off second half like -
pleased he mentioned how good the clubs financial position is in his post match comments, that's got to be worth another point hasn't it? hasn't it? otherwise why mention it...

again was on work lockdown, can someone summarise the game and our performance for me? on the face of it most of us would have taken a point before the game no? unfortunately other results went south for us again -
he'd go with a 4-3-2-1 if he had an ounce of fucking sense, at least try to pack the midfield and protect the defence walking away with a 0-0 from this would a victory in itself
-
dunno about benitez generally as i simply don't like the man, i'd take him over pardiola in a hearbeat though he's many things but i think he's a coach that can form a team from the individuals he has, as opposed to crowbarring individuals into a system they're not suited for if he came in i'd expect a solid 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-2-1 system with the width coming from fullback....but i'd also expect to see the ball on the deck and played through the midfield
