can only really be colo or krul with an honourable mention to ba for his goalscoring can't split colo and krul personally

bricklayer? WTF

is this the thread on the board with most use of the emoticon? must be surely

shorten to NIM

Buying a striker now would alleviate so many problems. It's such a simple solution but alas... how so, buy remy and have the 3 of them on the books thus forcing ba to make a choice? if he chose to stay we'd be f***ed, pardew can't manage 2 good strikers so f*** knows what he'd do with 3 We need at least 1 striker anyway so the timing is ideal to get one now. We'd have our "replacement" and a massive weight would be off the clubs and the supporters shoulders. no i know what you meant, i was taking the piss, how the fuck would pardew manage 3 of them man?
-
can't see chelsea baulking at basic wage personally, perhaps due to the uncertainty over the knee they wanted some clauses in and ba's people said fuck that
-
I was just looking at the table and I wanted to cry. He needed the results a long time ago and hasn´t. Should have been replaced a long time ago. in the next 4 league games he needs to seriously be looking to get 9 points, maybe 10, 6 would be a thin return, less than 6 and i think we're fucked like

jinx! i was gonna say he's just suddenly improved his technique and passing ability
-
there would be no logical reason for a move like that unless he was free, therefore i'm taking it as a wind up
-
as i've said he's succeeding but the team is failing, pardew is too cowardly to do anything about it himself so the next best thing is...
-
I don't want him to go, but the bridges are probably burnt now. If the uncertainty was causing problems before, it certainly will be now. If he's going to go, we need it over and done with ASAP. this, plus if he spends january talking to clubs then doesn't leave what position does that put us in for the rest of the season? can see no way pardew would drop him or change his place therefore progress on the pitch itself will likely be harder to achieve at the moment we have 1 individual succeeding while the team fails, we need to swap that around fast

never considered QPR but yeah would make sense in a certain respect

must be some truth to it man, a striker like ba available for a 7.5m fee in the summer and no-one came calling, not even the likes of spurs for example, must be something to it wages demands? yet spurs signed adebayor from man city...of course there's wage demands too but there has to be something in the knee for me, at 7.5m and big wages he's still a decent buy for a team wanting to push on, guaranteed 15-20 goal strikers aren't that easy to come by

look defending wasn't working with this group of players over the first half of the season was it? might as well spend the 2nd half attacking, at least it'd be entertaining
-
think the knee is something that could be fine or just go at a moments notice isn't it? that's how i understand it anyway as opposed to something that will both him and see him have niggling injuries it'll either not bother him at all, or he'll be a raspberry ripple

This nice fantasy boys, cisse RW for the rest of the season it is

Tavernier isn't ready and we've already seen that this season. I don't think Tav is that far off just needs a few sub appearances first. I would happily just sell Simpson for whatever and stick with Tav for next few months. When is Raylor back anyway get a CB then perch is your backup option for RB like

don't mind the fact the he's not played, but not keen an paying that much for a player who hasn't been playing and losing marveaux into the bargain marveaux bit seems daft, surely they'd not match his wages?
-
12mill euros + marveaux. jesus christ, and he hasn't played for them this season? doesn't seem like a great swap for ba on paper given that after 18 months we're only just starting to see value out of marveaux
-
how much are the rumours saying this bloke is going to cost then?
