in this scenario he doesn't pay colo's wages guess who wins again

don't know what that means, that i'm wrong or looking at it in the wrong way? I just don't think anyone has a clue mate, there's no way anyone can say with any degree of certainty he'll be in our side until the end of the season. Personally I think the signs are bad, I don't think it matters that much whether we try to keep him here against his will or not. We'll see. i see, personally don't think ashley will give 2 fucks about his personal life...if there's no-one to pay money for him or we don't get a direct replacement in as a swap i don't think he'll be going anywhere i'm choosing to look at it from that perspective i suppose, the alternative being ashley lets our best CB and captain go for peanuts because he's unhappy and the millions of pounds it'd take to replace him would come from ashley's/the clubs pockets it's not very likely is it?

only way he'll leave is if an argie club have a player we want and will swap them for colo, no way they'll be able to pay the fee ashley will demand he'll still be here 'til the end of the season, i have no doubt about that

a mate suggested a move for michael dawson....to be honest, at the moment i can't think of many better ways we'd get a competent CB at the club

can someone knock up a transfer window stahp meme, that'd be amazing like
-
this is absolutely the right answer, he's solely responsible for pissing away the first half of the season and we're paying a massive price for that now i think it's outwith his control and abilities to pull it back from where his direction steered us personally

probably been posted but so much in this, especially the last line he sounds like ron fucking atkinson or something: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/jan/10/alan-pardew-warns-newcastle

sat with a glass half full mate who won't have anything said about pardew (believes it's all down to injuries and squad depth), he wheeled out a piece of paper and pen and started showing me formations, how we've got good depth in certain areas and how with a couple of signings we will be decent next season...the formation he'd play etc. i was shaking with rage because he was right, it looks great on paper, but on the piece of paper he failed to draw the fact that pardew is the only manager in the known universe who would play shola and that our players are clearly not coached to play together in any kind of attacking sense he was all ready to make excuses for norwich and when we looked at it we could be fielding: krul, debuchy, perch, colo, santon, bigi, anita, marveaux, obertan, cisse + 1 more who for me would be campbell (intentionally left out willo and shola) that team on paper should be able to go to norwich and beat them, but i'd be willing to bet that most of us here wouldn't raise an eyebrow if we go there, concede within a few minutes and capitulate to a 4-0 loss that's where pardew has taken us

Football's greatest - where does Lionel Messi rank?

only problem i see with that is he's been play what 60+ games every season now for 4-5 seasons...he's gonna break down eventually like, hopefully it's not then -
do Africans actually care about this out of interest?

2009: average to poor ageing squad of players with zero motivation, massive off field discontent from keegan sacking....and 2012: most talented squad we've had in years, albeit weak in a couple of areas, chronically mismanaged for the first 21 games of the season about sums it up for me
-
i was going to come on and say i confidently predicted we'd get relegated last time the moment kinnear was appointed or something but given dave's powers of dregdging i seem to definately recall saying it wasn't inevitable until the villa game

God that would be amazing Fiorentina have been great to watch with him at the helm. I can't even begin to imagine the football we would play really, the quality of our football should have everyone shaking with rage with the players we have, and i agree the philospy thing is being overblown, we should be spending monday to friday working on passing and breaking teams down with the attacking talent at our disposal then hoying them on the pitch at the weekend to implement it if we'd ended up with 20 points with that approach i'd be far more comfortable than i am at the moment with the sheer idiocy of playing a game that is not suited to the majority of our players and still only getting fucking 20 points
-
here you go again, what exactly has he done to try and move towards a more positive attacking direction? be specific
-
since when did that cunt care about wages?
-
we'll know in the next 3 games if he'll ever turn this around and improve as a manager and if he's learned anything from the 1st half of the season, i refuse to accept that if he retreats into his shell now and tries to 1-0 his way to safety with shola up top & cisse on the wing that he'll ever improve as a manager

sweet jesus I've seen quite a few people agree that our average finish should be about 8th. it was more the use of "par" that bothered me, but now i realise golfmag himself just used it as opposed to that being the internal mantra of the club
-
he probably just looked at the first name Alfred and assumed automatically that his surname was Jones or Smith, rubber stamped the deal without looking
-
i'd say we're about to find out

has he not been shitcanned before 2 years in every other job? west ham was longer but he never got 2 seasons in the top flight did he?
