new manager - assuming he was half decent we'd improve right away with the existing players at his disposal imo new players same manager - well we'll fucking see won't we? my feeling is we'll continue to struggle but might scrape up in spite of pardew
-
find this staggering personally Agreed. Look at that squad, and tell me why it should be 2 points off relegation? Who else is to blame? this is a pattern with Pardews sides, he got lucky to a degree that we have enough individual brilliance to bail him out there's no question in my mind, none, that the "majority" of blame lies at his feet...again i'll contrast with rogers who was left with suarez as his only striker they stuttered a bit and he probably made some excuses but he's a good enough manager to adapt and make things work...simple as that
-
yep, he's managed to get to january with one recognised striker and it hasn't been a total shambles for them marked contract to mr. pardew who everyone seems willing to let off the fucking hook 'cause he wasn't backed

My biggest fear as well is that players will want to leave. I've actually lost all confidence in Pardew now, the only reason I want him to stay is because I don't think we would find an appropriate replacement. Grim. Literally exactly how I think at this moment in time. I want him gone but I'm shit scared of who might replace him. The most depressing part is that this will set us back another 3 years. We've got one of the nest squads we've had in ages, and he's put us i n serious relegation trouble. Horrendous actually, thinking about it, assuming the club want to stop our better players leaving a manager from france might well be the route the go down in order to keep them happy all of that based on the assumption we escape relegation and that MA & co. have eyes and can see pardew is failing

good work that, glad they're not rushing things
-
there it is in a nutshell for me
-
very true all the that work should have been done now. Scouts should now be looking towards the next transfer window .
-
this season is tragic like, simpson & williamson are the only 2 things that come close to excusing this fuckfest and frankly even if they'd both played every minute this season we should still be nowhere near where we are pardew has royally fucked it
-
http://www.thesackrace.com/job-centre seems well out of date like but still...di matteo to the end of the season?
-
in fairness, we're pissing away point after point now aren't we? and we have a manager who seems to think shola is falcao anyway it's an obvious thing to say but unless we were guaranteed a manager with an ounce of common sense then we have to stick with pardew, i agree with that can't think of anyone available right now who we could even get, suppose curbishley is out of work
-
i see it the other to that personally ronaldo, he's not suited to this hopeless mishmash of non-tactics we currently employ...if we utilised our attacking options correctly someone like tiote would be vital imo look at how cabaye and anita have laboured when told to concentrate heavily on the defensive sides of their game, ideally we'd have a 3 with 2 of them more attacking oriented and tiote tasked with doing nothing but breaking up the play when we lose it just me mind, you'd always need other to support him anyway
-
this is the baffling thing though, if we lost say cabaye and HBA and replaced them with people who were suited to pardew's horrific "tactics" we probably wouldn't get relegated but as it is we're signing top class technical footballers and asking them to emulate wimbledon circa 1988 week in week out it's fucking pitiful really
-
yep, what shak said
-
on his best day(s) he was arguably the best DM in the country I think we all went a bit mad with Tiote because of the gulf in class between him and the last few defensive midfielders at the club. perhaps, doesn't change the fact that he was very good and very effective at what he did when he first came in...for whatever reason he's totally lost the plot, probably started to believe his own hype and thinking he's fucking zidane he just needs to get back to working on his positioning, breaking the play up and giving the ball off to better players and he'll be alright probably needs to some dedicated coaching, may have to find it elsewhere

playing shola he wants the fucking sack doesn't he?
-
let's face it, if we don't come out of the next 3 games with a minimum of 7 points we're in deep fuckin trouble like...there's no hiding from that i'd say we're about at 6.5 at the moment, maybe 7
-
not possible, he's a force of nature
-
depends how long they let him stay, he'll lose it eventually, he's not a god
-
fergusons nearly 70 now man, he's clearly losing it but is able to get away with it by being a) an angry intimidating jock and b) still successful if he stops winning he's just going to come across like an utter cunt can't wait
-
it's been said but it would be the perfect message to have remy in right away like, or whoever else they want to sign
-
in fairness it's arguably one of the few times pardew might be faulted for that like, assuming he is this time he's been excellent at letting our players have enough recovery time, the best bar none since i've been watching us imo

krul is dutch #1 now is he? interesting
