  1. that'd be my take on things, nothing else makes sense - if we keep fucking up at home but winning/getting results away there's no other justification...can't see how they could bin him on the assumption we don't keep winning away
  2. if we lose at home vs mackems we'll have 1 win, 1 draw and 4 defeats from our home games right? that record is starting / will start to become pressure in itself i'm afraid NO I'M NOT SAYING SACK HUGHTON BEFORE ANYONE STARTS, JUST ACKNOWLEDGING THE REALITY

    Ballon d'Or

why have 25 anyway, totally fucking pointless...just pick 5 realistic contenders ffs messi is the better individual but schnieder will probably get it for the treble, not sure what you win should weigh that heavily though tbh xavi deserves it imo
  4. \\ahahahahhahha welcome to 2010 dude!
  5. This. can't believe anyone thinks it's as simple as playing 2 of the current squad up top at home
  6. This. our manager was a defender, his team is in his image in sense - happens a lot in football, the likes of fergie (ex-striker) who build a team from the back are the exception
  7. am i allowed to say i saw him fuck up once? against forum rules? not sure...
  8. The leg has been operated on so will heal much quicker than a broken leg which is just put in plaster. He'll also be able to put his weight on to the leg and the muscle wastage will be minimal, especially his thigh muscle, he'll be back earlier than most expect. Having the bone pinned will also mean that his ankle isn’t inside of a cast so all of his joints will be working as normal. The bone should be healed perfectly by Christmas, after that it will be a case of building up the muscle in his lower leg. No mention of any ligament damage makes all of the difference and is the reason he'll not be out as long as some of the high profile leg breaks. do you have any examples of both cases, where one has come back faster than the other? ostensibly it seems like surgery cases would likely take longer to get back than non...
  9. aye it was in the Guardian Fiver the night, makes the most sense to me like - run rings 'round the stupid yanks
  10. take it the theory has been posted that fergie was in on the whole thing too, they cooked it up to force the glazers to pay him what he'd get elsewhere?
  11. because he thinks it would take the power away from the players in contract terms i assume i.e. if rooney can't leave manyoo for free when his contract runs out the club he's going to might not pay him as much as they'll be hit with a tribunal fee that has to be factored in, therefore the ball isn't as much in his court tbf it is a little shit that you can pay 20m for a player, pay him for his services, then he walks away and you get nothing back...it's not like he's suddenly not worth anything every player has a value even if it's usually depreciating...i don't see why a club who paid for a player should get nothing back either tbh it just shouldn't restrict him being able to move on, which a tribunal wouldn't 'cause their rulings are/were final
  12. erm wasn't that what bosman was about man? his contract expired but his club wouldn't release his registration due to them deeming the fee offered too low so he couldn't go anywhere http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bosman_ruling
  13. revisit your post in june 2011 - i predict half the educated world will want to kill themselves
  14. someone's in the joooooob market!!
  15. Why? Clean break no ligament damage? He'll be back to normal after this. forcing his way out of his current employment contract?
  16. bringing in as his new #2 clearly [sEMTEX implodes]
