would modric even get spurs young player of the year nomination? Yeah, he has had a really good season. Should watch them sometime and see for yourself. dude, spurs have been a waste of space for most of the season, how the fuck was modric any good? earlier in the year there was talk of modric being sold he was that abject picked up since redknapp fair enough
-
yeah, selling woodgate turned out to be some deal man EDIT: but i thought you got nowhere selling your best players? fuck but yeah, we have got nowhere since, so NE5 must be right again

The single costliest decision in terms of this club. There are many decisions after this point that made things worse, but Souness is where the downfall began. It hasn't been said in a few years, but f*** SOUNESS. What a useless fucker he was. 50 mill on emre, owen, luque, boumsong. k cya europe wonder what that figures amounts to if you include wages, given they've all returned very very little on the pitch could be the costliest money ever spent, with the probable exception of o'blarneys ridiculous spree at leeds

yip for all gregs context riposte is well and good we should all remember how shite we've been generally away from home in recent years - longer than that actually i've been little short of amazed each of the times we've done spurs on the road, less surprised at SJP for the same reason reversed, i.e. spurs being brittle on the road as well

a lot of that is fair imo - he can beat a man or two with his eyes closed but he's not a natural crosser of the ball, however if he was playing in a team with a midfield containing more movement than a shop front full of mannequins i think he's more than capable of getting his head up and dropping a little pass into space and causing damage as long as he plays with duff, nolan & butt he's not getting that movement owen in the hole + jonas could work though

Howay man. I don't think he had a choice in this department. Shola scored a couple of important goals this season, and had partnered AS previously and trained with him for years. He probably felt he could give him a chance to pull about their defenders with his awkwardness and create some space for Owen. I'm with you and everyone else that Shola should have been shipped out of the club eons ago. But for yesterday's game, we know if Martins was fit, he would have played. Either way, Shola signed his own exit from the first team, and showed exactly why he shouldn't be played. IMO Shearer's true test will be with Owen. If he continues to be ineffective, will he drop him? will he at least sub him off after 60 mins? nonsense in what way dude? care to expand? I'm sorry like, but I won't call AS's decision to play Shola Ameobi against Stoke a failure of a true test! Yes I would start Carroll ahead of him every single time. But it isn't the biggest issue surely! Come to think of it, the bad decision was starting Owen against that mob!! You just KNEW he wasn't going to get any change out of them. hells teeth i was pissed yesterday (in the office when i wrote this and all!)

Happiness does not come from any of those things. christ i was pissing about man, have a sense of humour for once kind of agree with djmattis though about it - if he's that fucking unhappy he should return all the money inter have pissed up the wall while he's been trying to get his head together then see how he feels* i guaran-fucking-tee you he'd be a lot less happy as a binman or a toilet cleaner mate incidentally, as you seem to know, where does happiness come from then? *if he's got genuine mental problems then all of this is moot by the way, however no-one seems to be suggesting this so he's essentially just being a crying little bairn, until i'm told otherwise EDIT: just to clarify this grates on me a bit for a number of reasons not least that i work like fuck in a shitheap of a country away from my family for weeks on end where i spend a lot of time not particularly happy - the difference is i don't have millions of pounds in the bank so i can just throw in my chips and fuck off home 'cause i don't fancy it any more there are millions of people losing their jobs and homes around the world and this pisspot is turning his nose up at being a top level pro footballer, fuck him Just wondering what you do and where you live. Its Korea or somewhere right? Are your family back in the UK? wife is in korea, parents are in the uk and i work in Azerbaijan man, typing that in a sentence feels really weird

shearer failed his true test the moment he entertained playing shola ameobi

i'll pre-empt NE5 by saying we might do a leeds anyways! doesn't change the fact that pre-ashley we were headed for trouble though, of course

must be a fuckin nightmare being paid a fortune to keep fit and play football week in week out i'd imagine, with the added incentive of shagging loads of gorgeous birds on the side can see his dilemma maybe money, fame and fanny isn't his thing

Something we are very sadly lacking indeed, as Superior Grant says he might struggle to achieve massive success without finances but so will anyone really in this day and age bare minimum with shearer on a buy to sell policy i honestly think he'd restore pride back to the club, sick of being the fucking laughing stock of the world
-
what i like about shearer, and why i honestly want him to take over permanently, is the irrational hatred for him that other clubs fans have unlike KK's best years i reckon he's intelligent enough to be able to use it to create himself an 'us against them' culture at the club that the best managers always have, something we've never had since i've been watching also i simply can never imagine him allowing shite and wasters to contribute to dragging the club down the way they have in recent times, a lot of which he sat back and watched with his own eyes people might not like it but this is what we need - i'd say some of the above about steve bruce actually but one thing we know is that shearer will never stab us in the back, one sniff from old trafford and bruce would be on the way to the airport...if you could trust bruce to commit he'd be my long-term choice as it is i'm desperate for shearer to restore some dignity and pride to the club
