  1. erm, wind the clock forward a bit at the "next generation", anyone think any of these will make good managers?: david beckham gary neville paul scholes john terry fwank lampard stephen gerrard david james me either, with the possible exception of gary neville - cunt of a man but i reckon he'll go into coaching with man u and already has the combination of belligerence and intelligence required to make it
  2. aye? would you say the same if the london evening standard had something about "obnoxious fat geordies" would you? pc is fuck all to do with it, just another thing that makes us look like fucktards
  3. Not really, messing with N'Somnia's head would probably not even take any psychological knowledge. He's dumber than a baboon remember. erm, are you for real? bruce has just sold a player bought for 1m for 14m to spurs (granted they're no real madrid but it's a step up in him for money & ambition and increases palacios's chances of a move to a bigger club again) and it's common knowledge valencia will be off to man u or real in the summer for a huge fee yeah, see what you mean though, no fuckin idea how bruce sold it to the lad! EDIT: oh yeah, and we've pretty much fucked every player we've had for as long as anyone can remember
  4. They don't have money for compensation since when.. where did all the money from Muntari and Defoe go? Also some good managers unattached right now. I'm sure i read somewhere that they are massively in debt, or something like that, that money's probably gone towards clearing that. curbishley, bothroyd or grant - all free and all will probably keep them up as has been mentioned hopefully 'boro, west brom, sunderland & stoke stick with their managers and we might scrape up
  5. All those English teams who didn't buy him bcos he was 'overpriced' must be kicking themselves. Unbelievably good player. Best player in the world right now excluding Messi. saw a little of messi in this game for the first time in ages, what a player...hopefully barca will clean up and he'll get the recognition he deserves for world player of the year i like ronaldo. a lot, but messi is streets ahead of him as a footballer
  6. I am not sure I would expect an educated journalist to write something as poor as that fuckin hell, who's the editor like? must have high standards letting shit like that through...right up there with "cockney mafia out" and the boycoutt sign christ
  7. yeah it was ace, if it's being revamped then i'd vote for SJP to be added and something footbally, but as it is it's ace anyways
  8. Not really, you need to have your definition accepted by the site before it gets up. And most of the time when I've looked up words they've been pretty spot on, you can tell what's just random piss by the "up" and "down" reviews on them as well. so people actually speak like this then? fuckin hell, i've only been gone 4 years, what happened?
  9. http://www.urbandictionary.com surely 90% of this shit is just made up?
  10. did you read his last post mate? wasn't FS vs MA at all really, just an honest perspective
  11. But if he didn't return who would manage us? Hughton?, he lost 5 games straight when he took over. Fair enough we won yesterday but that team was picked and trained by Kinnear. The man's not the best, but surely you realise his record is infinitely better then Hughton's. Had he not come in and we'd continued the way we were going we'd already be mathematically relegated. christ you rate kinnear that high huh?
  12. Yes 0-0 against Arsenal is really embarassing. 0-0 against a 10 men Arsenal with Adebayor limping off in the first half is not that great though is it? No it's a bad result but is it "embarassing"? I would say embarrassing, in the fact that they are your local rivals. If Sunderland were to come to St James', lost their main striker before half time due to injury, replaced him with someone who wasn't match fit, and then one of their midfielders was sent off I would be gutted and embarrassed if we came away with a 0-0. ermmmmm Sunderland, Arsenal,Sunderland,Arsenal, Sunderland, Arsenal Yeh i see where you're comming from. Spurs spend, Newcastle spend, Spurs spend, Newcastle spend, Spurs spend, Newcastle spend Clearer for you? WTF are you going on about ffs? what have Newcastle got to do with this? clearly my point was that Arsenal are a far superior team to Sunderland so your example was pretty pointless. and her point is you've spent a fuckin fortune so should be doing better, whereas we've made money and have a s*** squad and she'd be disappointed with the same result it's not rocket science mini harry Are you an idiot, or are you just slow? Yes we've spent a fortune, yes we should be doing better, yes it's a bad result but when did this become a spurs vs Newcastle argument? why are you (and her) bringing up the value of Newcastles squad in a debate that has nothing to do Newcastle? The question was whether todays result was embarrasing, which she has now somehow managed to add Newcastle in the equation. Yes i agree that a 0-0 at home to sunderland with them down to 10 men, would be bad (wouldn't even call it embarassing tbh), but Arsenal are in a different league to Sunderlans, so her argument holds no weight. correct me if i'm wrong but she drew a direct comparison between 2 derbies and the disappointment she'd have felt had sunderland came to SJP and had a man sent off & lost their man striker and we'd not won, never mind if we'd spent 40m or something in the january transfer window and still not won that's why newcastle were involved, or are you slow? for what it's worth i don't think it was an embarrassing result, and never said it was...i was trying to help you read what was fairly clear to me from the good lady's post(s) Aye exactly what Mr Mojorisin said, and I never said that you should be embarrassed. I said it was a bad result. However I would feel embarrassed if it was us and Sunderland. I am not telling you how to feel, just think it was a bad result for you, and a great result for us (incidentally). Your trying to change the goal posts now tbh. I asked if OUR result was embarrassing (not if you would feel embarassed or anything like that), to which you replied "I would say embarrassing, in the fact that they are your local rivals." i've got some shopping to do
  13. see what it's like after man u, liverpool, chelski and arsenal...the goal difference that is best we'll get from those games is a point, if we're lucky, league might look very difference by then A lot of the teams around us also have those same teams left to play. You might be surprised at just how much we might have to lose to drop down into the bottom three. Before the West Brom game we'd only taken 2 points from our previous 5 games. We started that run 12th in the table but only 2 points above the bottom three. We ended it 15th, still a point above the bottom 3. yesterday has increased my confidence a little, i have to say...we appear to be able score which a few other teams can't say, trouble is as i see it (like last season) we have a set of fixtures that could combine into a long bad run if you see what i mean oh, that and the fact that is the worst manager in the league...sad as it is to say it if he can't return i think we'll stay up
  14. see what it's like after man u, liverpool, chelski and arsenal...the goal difference that is best we'll get from those games is a point, if we're lucky, league might look very difference by then i like the difference way you use words mojo75... yes! half cut...the road to good spillage fyp. 25ml steps ahead of you bonny lad!!!

  18. mind, first time i've had chance to get a good luck at palacios...what a fuckin player, shame he went there really as he'll probably end up getting dragged down by wankers like jenas and bentley looks in the mascherano class to me, maybe better in the long run
  19. yep, the enforced drop from 70k a week to 50k a week will fuck them up big style...
  20. see what it's like after man u, liverpool, chelski and arsenal...the goal difference that is best we'll get from those games is a point, if we're lucky, league might look very difference by then
  21. blessing in disguise for him and us imo, he's had a scare without it being serious so hopefully he'll be ok we've been scared to shit with him as manager since he walked through the door so maybe this will be a wake up call for us too
  22. thats because you don't understand it. Sorry like. But, under Ashley, we have became a selling club, and it appears to be the path he intends to follow, although I obviously hope this turns out to be wrong. It's - along with the involvement of Wise - the reason Keegan left. Without any doubt whatsoever. So we are only buying players to sell on a profit? Why did we buy Collocini? I am sure there are some decent young centre backs knocking about who we could have bought for half the price with more chance of their value rising. Its not as if we went behind anyones backs to sell them, every player that has been sold was sold because THEY wanted out. sorry, I'm not explaining this again, which has been done numerous times, especially when you don't listen and I just get a daft pm from you like the last one and flak from others for "spoiling threads". Ashley has turned us into a selling club, if it continues, then you might understand eventually. Hopefully he won't. Carry on deluding yourself that Bassong will think NUFC will act like the big club they ought to be, and help him fulfill his career ambitions. You are obsessed man. Are you not able to post in any threads without slating Ashley? Are you unable to see how good Bassong is for the price he cost and not just appreciate that? Why are you so blinkered? what are you talking about ? Of course I can see how good Bassong is ? I'm not half so obsessed about Ashley as the dozens of people who were obsessed about his predecessors ? I just think Ashley is taking the club on the road to absolute oblivion. You say you have seen this club operating as a selling club, so you should understand too by the way. See, I didn't and don't want to "spoil this thread" at all, I just posted what I think about Bassong and his future at the club. NE5, leave aside the selling club thing ('cause if you look at it it doesn't stand up, nor does asset stripping) and explain what your honest take on ashley is if you don't mind do you think the fiasco that has unfolded since he took over was from the start a cynical and calculated ploy? the finance thread showing he's losing not making money...so what's it all about? in your opinion, leaving aside personalities and previous records of the old board... EDIT: sorry if i'm derailing the thread as well...on bassong he looks very good but hasn't played a full season yet, lets hold off with the keys to the city

Something he agrees with, which I 100% wouldn't believe ? the smiley is called sad smiley and that's how i feel when i read your posts now, you're not trying to achieve anything with them and are redefining the word repetitive, so all i can bring myself to say now is dude
  24. Goal yesterday looked good but in reality it was a deflected effort He is an average premiership player looking good in a good 'team of the moment' team He will unfortunately piss all over our entire midfield at the end of the season in regards to goals and assists. I never claimed he was anything more than a good young player, I am sure some people will be near bursting point at the end of the season from the amount of humble pie they will have consumed (thats not aimed at you btw). I doubt it. The number of goals he's scored which are mis-hits or flukes is unreal. Milner always had ability but I still don't think he's going to make the most of it, much the same way Jenas hasn't. If he does good luck to him, he never produced enough at Newcastle regardless of what he does at Villa. good comparison tbh
