It'll always slow things down. You need refs that only reviews the footage all the time so a decision can reach the ref as quickly as possible. Should take less than 30 seconds from the second the ref blows his whistle on the pitch.

If you did it properly and had a couple of VAR refs reviewing incidents as they happen, it'd work as the ref would get the decision from the video refs almost immediately. As it is right now it does not work at all because the ref himself reviews things.

They're in League Two but close to automatic promotion / fairly nailed on for play-offs.

The expanded Euros were awful IMO - an expanded WC will be even worse I loved the expanded Euros. I wanted 32 teams in it. Cool - I just loved the old 16 team format with 2 groups being groups of death I hate how three teams can advance from a group, hence why I'd rather have 32 than 24. But again, I'm a sucker for watching minnows on a major stage. I feel like the majority of people are not Basically why I'd much rather have 64 teams in a World Cup than 48.
