Us? Are you really a toon fan? No offence, you just seem to spend your time talking about general statistics, feels like the first time I've seen you mention our refer to'us' He's a Crystal Palace fan.

I'm also due a decent win if Chelsea pulls it off tonight. It's the most certain match so no doubt it will fuck things up for everyone.

"I don't think they'll need a sackpardew site in London at least." "Well, never say never." I like the one guy in the Norwegian PL studio that's not Erik Thorstvedt.

Shame for Bournemouth, deserved a point at least. Not at all impressed by Villa. That header though, sexyful.

Towelie just strolling into a random topic, knocking over the table shouting "I live in here now!"

Yup. I've got that on the TV and Palace on the laptop. Gonna swap over, I advise you stick with it, there'll probably be 12 goals as soon as I change channel. Villa with 11 man in defense against the might Bournemouth. Sherwood for president.

Exactly. Why the fuck should I care about Bournemouth Because of the romanticism? It's a true underdog story. I want to watch good football. I have no connection to Bournemouth, don't know why I should be bothered by them. If they look good on MOTD tonight I might watch them in the future Bournemouth play a lot better football than a lot of the teams in the league (including us). I'm biased, but it's great seeing a little team from Dorset giving it a go in the Premier League. Yeah, their only claim to fame bar climbing the league system is that Howe supposedly have them playing great front foot attacking football. Not interested in checking out Bournemouth, but he maybe wanted to check out Villa. What the hell.

Figure the Bournemouth game could be entertaining. Aye maybe. Villa seem to have a couple of new players that could be interesting What even is this opinion? How is the first PL match of Bournemouth not that interesting?

Only 21 players in their entire squad, one of which is Nile Ranger. They're still imploding.

Not worth 8.5m IMO. I'm sure he was one of the top midfielders last year. 5/6th maybe? Tbh it just depends on who Wenger will play, he has a fantastic disposal of 'midfielders' available to him in Ozil, Walcott, Sanchez, Cazorla, Ramsey, Chamberlain and Wilshere (when fit) so it's difficult to outline who'll play behind the striker in every single game. 4th.
-
Don't see the appeal of Villa whatsoever. Bournemouth at home, eager to impress with a positive attitude and a good recruitment summer behind them. Think they'll win by more than one goal even.
-
You're far too prepared for this. This is just mix and match. When it comes to the real fantasy game, I've already compiled a list of some tasty sleepers and will partake in watching pre-season to find out if they're the real deal or not in great detail.

US going from one horrible badge to another. Why not just fucking use the centennial badge? Why open up clipart again?

Agree there should be a better way to determine the seeds. Needs to be fair to smaller nations though, which is my fear won't happen if they adopt a new system in place of the current one. Yes, this system throws up a wild Romania or Wales from time to time, but if the traditional "good" nations have a few bad years, why shouldn't smaller nations that have done well have an easier way getting into a tournament?

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that we're up against Italy, and Sampdoria ballsing it up too means we're OK. Very vague memory though. Nah, that was last season. It's so close this season that Italy no doubt will take the spot from England if they do well in the CL and England doesn't. Not if England did better in the Europa League. Competitions are equal in the coefficient points that are distributed. England + Europa League Still the same thing though, if Italy does better than England this season in Europe they go in front.

I have been yelling about this for ages, and every time I mention it people think I am crazy or justify the ranking because it is mathematical. It is simple, Romania and Wales haven't qualified for the last two major tournaments and are ranked among the top ten team in the entire world on the back of a few recent good results in qualifiers that are amplified by the artificially high rankings of European teams. Romania are especially ridiculous. Their biggest competitive accomplishment over the past four years is beating Turkey and Greece in qualifiers, yet they are 7th. Such a ranking shouldn't be used to seed World Cup or determine work permit situations. That's why though. The rankings are basically a form guide rewarding nations for winning matches, not for qualifying for things. Don't see much wrong with it whatsoever. CONEMBOL is worth more than UEFA fwiw. The other federations have a lot of shitty nations so a smaller value is needed to make the rankings somewhat fairer.

You can't name ten, but you can name above eight which is where England's level these days is at. i.e. Round of 16 / Quarter Finals in a WC. I'd say I'd bet on Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay, Chile, Spain and Germany to beat England with France and Italy dnb.
