Any manager with self respect would walk if we fuck them over. I'm not even sure McClaren doesn't have enugh self-respect to walk if he gets fucked over. In this scenario we should just stay with John Carver in case we may end up with John Carver again.

How on earth can you know that? What credentials does he have for you to be able to say that? As I've stated numerous times in this thread and the Vieira thread, I'm impressed by his work for Diembars and his accomplishments within youth development. An example being his revamping of Tromsø (through their relationship with Diembars) and Strømsgodsets (through their relationship with Man City) youth development programmes/teams. Both of which were among the worst in the country, and are now pretty much the best. I've no idea about what he'd do on a first team basis, but what I've heard about his time in charge of Man City EDS I'm somewhat enthused. This combined with the general consensus that he's supposed to become a great manager, and apparently have been considered for Man Citys first team, is also exciting. I don't know if the last parts will translate to something good, but given our options I'm very willing to take the risk. We're gonna appoint a manager before Ashley leaves, and maybe even more than once. We'll force ourselves to watch the team. Why not have some excitment from the unknown, if only for a short while?

Vieira isn't a shit alternative though. He'd be a possible candidate even with proper options tbh. Naturally, said proper options and a proper appointment process would mean he'd not be number one in the queue. However I wouldn't find it weird if he was in it and was being considered as an alternative. We need new ownership. Whatever happens at the managerial post is pretty irrelevant as things stand. We don't have to be happy with Vieira as an appointed manager, but given our circumstances it'd not be bad. We are in desperate need of better circumstances though.

Absolutely disgusting. Actually took the time to go report that.

Gonna see if I can recoup something with 25 or something on Seattle and LA. Plan on watching these matches waiting for GoT so hope Seattle doesn't fucking ruin things before the second match.

Last half hour or so, and yeah it was. I needed them to score twice rather than win, so I was quite pleased when Tromso scored. Rosenborg then put on an amazing show of piss poor finishing. Average of 3.4 goals scored per match before this match It almost makes me believe in jinxing due to my extreme hubris before the match.

How much did you watch, Wullie? It was like non-stop bullshit from around 75 minutes.
-
I refuse this reality.
-
Fucking hell that chance there. Absolutely ridiculous. It's some straight up bullshit
-
I hate life.

How this is not 10-0 Rosenborg I'll never know. Fuck.
-
Some insane shit going on. Fucking keeper on fire and post and bar and post and shit. Just to spite me this fucking bullshit.

Not the worst haul*, shame Stabæk couldn't get the second. Full on dominance once again but Sarpsborg literally had every man in their own half pretty much all match. Was like watching Basketball the way Stabæk kept passing it around the box to get inside. * I take it for granted Rosenborg will win by tons of goals. Not even jinxing it by saying so. Tons of goals. Why would I say that? Why?
-
Rosenborg completely controlling the match with quite a big amount of chances, so they will not score. Naturally.
-
The disturbing thing in that poll is that two people have voted Carver.
-
Over 25 which diminishes re-sale value.

And look how well we're all doing.

Not a bad record in general for a club like Boro. I'd far rather we didn't appoint someone like McClaren, but he would be a decent enough appointment all things considered. Vieira smacks to me of the club trying to force McClaren's hand into accepting our terms etc. As leftfield as he would be, we need someone experienced, someone with some kind of track record. I'd take the former Boro man over Vieira like. Why? Why do we need that? Isn't what we need someone who could lift the players and provide a more exciting outlook to watching us play? If someone with experience brings that, fine. If someone without it brings it, also fine. What we need isn't at all dependent on any form of experience tbh.

That's completely wrong, got more history than at least half the league for starters. They have a shit name and shit colours. Other than that I don't mind them all that much.

Playing a shit team today. Had an eight game winning streak before a draw and a loss to the two best, by far, teams in the league - all whilst being unlucky whilst outplaying them. I'm superbly confident. That pretty much means they'll not win though.
