As much as Llambias is a lying cunt, I'm inclined to believe what he's said is the most realistic scenario just down to sheer plausibility difference between the various stories being bandied about.

Why do you have a 4.5 goalkeeper as reserve? Nonsense as long as Hart's not injured.

Not very high. Could have been very high, but we'll never know now.

A Liverpool "supporter" giving an interview to The Sun? Great way to out yourself in public as not being a Liverpool supporter.

Sammy_Ameobi Samuel Ameobi Andy Carroll is now worth more than David Villa...really???

Danny Simpson is saying in that tweet that it's not what they want to hear off the fans. Check the link at the end.

Owen, Luque, Oba, Viduka, Geremi, Carroll #24 etc etc are all welcome too like. Probably worth my mate digging his Rozenhal one out I'd not part with my Luque shirt, it's like some sort of cult item.

Don't have a Carroll shirt, but will send them my old Owen shirt that's been collecting dust for ages.

Gotten is a word of UK origin dating back to the middle ages. Shakespeare, for one, used "gotten" and not "got". "Got" is actually a shortened version of "Gotten", which is a much older word, shortened by speakers of British English no less. The irony here is that you are complaining about the Americans actually using the long, original, version of a word when the general consensus is that the American version of English is lazy. Just had to clear that up. "Got and gotten are not identical in use. Gotten usually implies the process of obtaining something, as in he had gotten us tickets for the show, while got implies the state of possession or ownership, as in I haven't got any money." I'll edit "American" out and the point still stands. "He got us tickets for the show" is a lot less of a mouthful than "he had gotten us tickets for the show". The possibility of using variations of a word eases the stress on a reader. In oral English I can see where it may be a mouthful, but in written English it definiately serves it's purpose well. Then again it's oral English that's made the youth of today write "should of" instead of "should have" and so on, maybe a bigger mouthful is what they need. The ill-feeling towards the word comes from constant mis-use of it which riles people up, just as "should of" riles people up. Which it should. The problem here is people not using words correctly, not the word itself. The rest of your signature is sound, though. You should keep adding to it.

And the worst thing is that when the next homegrown star leaves, we'll be just as shocked as with Carroll. http://www.nufc.co.uk/javaImages/96/a8/0,,10278~9021590,00.jpg Is 36 AT LEAST, no? Who is this?! Phil Airey, 19, local.

Forfar denied me a £300 win. Annoyed. Barely £5 or so in profit today thanks to the obvious three.

More than mine? No, but people have already asked you spizz energy easily wins the "most disturbing avatar" competition tbh.

Tossed Carroll out for DJ Campbell, have that!

You're such a plastic yank Kaizero. Unreal. How is it unreal? It's totally real how I'm such a plastic Yank.

Bradley starting for Villa? Might check that match out tonight if so.

And will will probably not recieve all the Carroll money now... Reckon they will be paid over 3-4-5 years. If there's one thing Ashley's been adamant about it's transfer fees being up front, at least AFAICR.

I'm sure they've heard that Carroll signed a transfer request too. Yeah, but they've actually the chance to talk to Carroll about it. Which means that if Carroll is telling the truth (Not saying he is, mind) they'll know it and it could make them a bit miffed? Not that footballers care about anything anymore though.
