  1. It's every time the camera cuts to him he's touching it in some way.
  2. He's not fit to be fair, and he's playing in wank team.
  3. He said earlier Gerrard and Lampard are world class, it annoyed me.
  4. I used to think international football was dated, but the more financial inequality increases in club football, with teams that can spend £100m in a window "competing" with clubs that can spend nothing, and with clubs actually being owned by states, the more I see international football as the true competition. It's a test of long term planning and team spirit. It's just a shame FIFA are cunts.
  5. Hoddle wants Gerrard and Lampard in midfield. He was literally begging Gerrard on ITV not to retire, his argument was "look at Pirlo, how old is he".
  6. I feel he said that Gerrard is a selfish cunt but in a very polite way.
  7. Agree. I'd like us to get someone to instill a winning mentality into us firstly and foremost. I don't care what nationality he is. I actually would like Wenger. How is a nation deserving of claiming a title if it takes someone from another nation to do it for them though? I actually think Redknapp would manage England pretty well, better than Hodgson anyway. I agree that in an ideal world countries would only have managers and players from their own country, but I don't think the rest of the world really gives a shit. Spain won the Euros with Marcos Senna in their side and no one cared, this year they had Diego Costa, and although it irritated the Brazilians no one else cared. As for Redknapp, his 1 FA Cup in 30 years tells me he's not a tournament manager.
  8. If I was Greg Dyke I would offer the job to Rafa, either now or in 2 years time when Hodgson hopefully leaves. Though that might be as popular as hiring a German. It will be Redknapp won't it.

    Alan Shearer

Bit weird really, a population of 200 million that will see them as a failure if they lose in the final, yet they care what a pundit in England is saying. I'm pretty sure people in Brazil are saying similar things about Fred.
  10. Well I like him. Well I don't like him, but I think he's a funny pundit.
  11. It was a piece of magic from Suarez according to Andros.
  12. Andros Townsend, the most pointless pundit.
  13. Thank fuck Jonathan Pearce isn't commentating, that would have ended him.
  14. They're a proper side Costa Rica.
  15. None. I don't think it is an issue to being with, frankly. It is not as if the referee actually takes out his utensils or his laser and measures out exactly ten yards. It has always been the referee just arbitrarily lining the players up and watching that they don't move too much. What will happen if the players are only 9.3 yards away from the ball? Will people die? No. Just line the players up and book them if they move too much. You don't need to leave your rubbish all about the pitch. I love the spray, me. Also, my girlfriend hates football but I've managed to get her interested in the spray, national anthems and good looking footballers to increase her tolerance and allow me to watch more football. Next up - whose strip do you think is the nicest, pet? Should give me another few days. That's brilliant I'm truly amazed how well it's going. Think she's getting in after 8 so will miss the national anthems, thankfully France have a nice strip and a few lookers which should keep the conversation flowing. She said Neymar was fit the other day and I told her he looked like a disgusting rodent, which she soon concurred with after consulting Google Images. A lot of fancy haircuts and tattoo's on the French team.
  16. The spray is great, it pisses me off players taking freekicks yards away from where a foul took place. I remember Drogba scoring a freekick against us, the foul was out wide, but he chose to take it from the corner of the box, it pissed me off badly.
  17. Hodgson is the 2nd highest paid manager at the world cup behind Capello, I don't think attraction would be a problem.
  18. Good to know they've had a long hard think about the decision.
  19. Be quiet. As if Terry's culpability comes close to that of Upson, David James and a totally porous, pedestrian midfield. You be quiet, Terry wasn't culpable??? He was supposed to be the leader of the defence, a criticism you often aim at Coloccini, he was more to blame than anyone for that circus.
  20. He was getting beaten by straight long balls from the goalkeeper, but whatever, Terry would have saved us cos he was great for England. Complete fantasy IMO.
  21. Anyone talking about Terry must have forgotten Germany 2010, easily the worst defensive performance i've seen from England, it was like us at our worst.
  22. Don't see why England couldn't have scored without Rooney. Obviously bigger problems than him, but giving someone a permanent guaranteed starting place is never right.
