  1. What, so the money we've been told is available has once again vanished?

Open your eyes man! If only Ashley had backed KK, we wouldn't be in this mess. I'm all for giving Ashley a 2nd chance, but so far he's done nothing to show me he's going to "drive the club forward" like he promised. I hope he proves me wrong. If not, he deserves all the stick he gets. Granted, protests don't do any good, but people get understandably frustrated. Those frustrations are going to come out at some point. He can't sell the club, so we're stuck with him, but he can't expect us to have any respect for him until he stops the club we love from self destructing. I'm well aware of how bad a job Ashley has done. I also think Keegan chose the wrong time to make his point, we had an entire season ahead of us and i think with him here we wouldn't be in a relegation fight. I can't help but feel he threw the towel in too early.

Most of them were not around 82-84, or 92-97, and so havent got a f***ing clue what he did here....FACT. That's a bit of an assumption isn't it. Ok ,then, lets have the names of season ticket holders 82-84, 92-97, who think Keegan is Bad,....... I was I think he was good. So now you have to have been a season ticket holder, any more qualifications one must have to hold an opinion?

Cheers for resigning 3 games into the season. Brilliant.
  6. Such as what? He gets around the same amount of goals and assists, plus he is no more talented. The only thing Lennon has over N'Zogbia is his nationality, which makes him higher profile and about £5m more valuable. And he plays on the right which would give us more balance. We would be better off selling N'Zogbia and buying Pennant with some of the change. Now I don't rate Pennant, but he's about the same quality as Lennon.

  8. "we haven`t actually seen them play," Sounds promising.
  9. I was about to say that. We would probably offer half of whatever Stoke are though, but atleast we'll have tried!!!

    Scraping the barrel

Butt is abysmal, among the worst in the league, but he's not THAT bad.
  11. Aah. Just answered a question I was about to pose. And has that been a straight run of 9 games or has it been a bit on and off ? He started 6 in a row, scored 1, and hasn't started since. I think he's had some injuries as well as bad form.
  12. I saw the thread title and immediately thought of Redknapp, wobbly eyed git.
  13. If its a loan I can't really see it being a terrible decision. Don't think it would be a positive move to be honest. It's not as if he's a class player who's just on a bad run and needs a change of surroundings, he's genuinely just not good enough for the PL. Bit harsh. He was definitely way overpriced, but he is a 21 year old that has only started 9 times in the league.
  14. The best player we have wants to quit the club because he basically agrees with the sentiment behind the banner - I think the message is still relevant. What's this based on? The situation has pissed him off, he might not fully blame the "cockneys" though, i know i don't.
  15. Why is it an "idiotic" thing to do? Or is that just your opinion? I don't agree with the wording on these banners, but they are just banners. They don't hurt anyone, they only display the beliefs of the people displaying them. If you don't agree then go and make your own banner saying so. Imagine playing infront of people that are more focused on off the field matters, i imagine it would be quite demoralising. These people are trouble makers in my eyes and are big reason why we're in such a mess, i think it's a small minority now though, i think alot of the people that kicked off in september now realise it got us nowhere. Imagine being a professional footballer who is more concerned about banners in the crowd (which they probably have a damn hard job seeing up in the singing corner with the lights and everything) rather than the game itself. Get real! Who said they were MORE concerned? They're not robots, they can't shut off what is happening around them.

  17. Wait until the summer and then fuck him off abroad. I'm bored of his bullshit attitude now. It's shame because i used to be a fan.
  18. Why not? It's not like we're in a relegation battle. I don't see any reason for the club to do that.
