  1. I can't imagine it was unprovoked, football fans think they can say what they like to players.
  2. We’re the only team that pundits argue shouldn’t be improved in the transfer market, I’ve never seen this before.
  3. It's not possible for football to be brought into disrepute, it's swimming in disrepute, and sportsmanship barely exists. Teams systematically dive, they set out to intimidate referees for an advantage, they try to get eachother sent off, they try to keep the ball out of play to kill the game, they have ballboys drying the ball for their teams throw-ins but not the oppositions, they set out to injure dangerous players, and that's just some of the on-field stuff, we could go into the financial doping and the dirty as fuck transfer market. There are many many things happening in football on a weekly basis that are worse than sending someone to watch a training session.
  4. Just watched Bielsa being asked if he understands why spying on a training session is unacceptable in this country. I really don't see the big fucking deal.
  5. Just read that Riise extract. "I could've battered the little orc swinging a club at me but I decided to let him hit me while I talked him down." Bellamy does my head in, he's always trying to talk about what a model pro he was on sky, who the fuck buys that?

    Dogawful Officiating

I don't think Yedlin pulled that lads shirt, it was all an illusion.
  7. The story and voice acting in Red Dead is amazing. Fortnite is just fuckwits running around shooting.
  8. Video games are fantastic, but playing Fortnite does mean you're probably a div IMO.

    Jamaal Lascelles

Did he not say "the club", not "him"?

then what about lascelles quotes over the summer? Re-reading those comments it's notable that he didn't criticise Ashley, which is what it was interrpreted as at the time. He might have thought the lack of investment had nothing to do with him. Lascelles is a bit different though because he is actually a good player, investment wouldn't mean him being replaced. I just doubt there is much discussion of Mike Ashley or the way the club has been dismantled in the squad, the players are doing alright out of all this.

Just catching up with this. It's a reminder that players live in a different world, I wouldn't be surprised if the players are pretty confused about why we don't like Ashley, it's not likely that they'll discuss the issue with fans or seek out fans opinions. From a players perspective they're earning good money and most probably know they're lucky to be in the premier league. Young or foreign players probably don't even realise the club is a shadow of what it used to be.
  12. I don't know how anyone can be arsed, or why people are continuing to put their time and money into the club. I've never been one of the hardcore so i'm sure it's much easier for me to find other interests, but most people only get a couple days to themselves a week, why spend it going to SJP? Just some misguided sense of loyalty? People also care enough to turn up but apparently don't seem to care enough to give Ashley a hard time, compared to other clubs the protests are pretty tame. SJP is like the mall in Dawn of the Dead, all the zombies turning up because something in their brain is telling them that's where to go. Mike Ashley might sell the club, but it's probably more likely that he will be here for years more, maybe 10 years+ doing the same routine over and over. Things aren't going to get any better. People need to ask if they want to dedicate a decent chunk of their life to this.
  13. Mourinho wouldn't have run off and hid like that Chelsea random He crept up on a bloke and poked him in the eye and then ran away.
  14. Some Chelsea coach being a proper weasel celebrating like crazy in front of Mourinho before running off down the tunnel. Some Chelsea coach doing a Mourinho then.
  15. They conceded because Alonso was busy feigning injury. What a tit.
  16. I doubt any money would be worthwhile to sky and I doubt they consciously have a pro-Ashley agenda, their coverage is just a reflection of the kind of people they employ and work with, and how out of touch they are with what people think of their pundits. They probably genuinely think Wise will have some sort of insight, and who else are they going to talk to? Craig Bellamy probably. Carragher recently spoke better on the subject than anyone i've seen, but because he has no connection to the club he's unlikely to be asked about it very often.
  17. This is the odd part for me, I'm wondering if he has any connection to Ashley. I also wonder how many people actually think he's looking to sell at this point. If the story was true, would Ashley react positively to it?

    Ronaldo

Calling C.Ronaldo the greatest and better than Messi can be statistically justified, and he probably is the greatest athlete i've seen in the sport, but beyond that it feels a bit dirty and wrong to me.
  19. I'm sure I read that when we were in the championship 9 of the 10 most watched games that season involved Newcastle.

    Ronaldo

I don't think todays era is particularly difficult for attacking players due to the lack of contact. Football peaked in the 90s to mid 2000s, the perfect mix of physicality and tactical awareness.
  21. The club won't be up for sale in any meaningful way unless sports direct starts tanking and he needs to do it.
  22. Spitting in another mans mouth without permission is out of order.

Bob is the sort of man that will fuck around with a late night radio show just for his own amusement. I blame Vic Reeves for House of Fools.
