  1. Imo, it speaks volumes that no one has snapped up Gamst from Blackburn all these years. Inconsistent, lazy player who does something brilliant once in a red moon, nothing more.
  2. http://www.hullcityafc.net/javaImages/e9/70/0,,10338~3829993,00.jpg These days he is much more akin to a pauper..or a queen (depending on his cellmate).
  3. Who signed him, btw? Seems like he came in right at the end of the Allardyce regime.
  4. This season, yes. When we are in the Premiership, no...not at all. The truth of the matter is that someone like me will definitely have seen less of the football. It is only a problem when big headed idiots use it in an insulting way.
  5. Does Sno know the rules of football. He's fouled in every minute he's been on the pitch.
  6. Sno has no place on a football pitch. Amazing to think he was once considered a promising player.
  7. Such a waste of a Saturday afternoon this is. I'm currently watching an internet stream of someone taping a television screen and we're playing rubbish.
  8. Want West Ham to win. Really don't want Arsenal to win the title. Delighted to see Kanu get the winner also. The King is back!
  9. Match is by no means over, yet. I think we have a decent shot to get back into this game.
  10. Left I always thought that, and I was certain he was watching him, until he took a penalty with his right v Reading or someone and I was dumbfounded... Very two footed player. Not a penalty taker at all though. Shouldn't have been given that responsibilty just because he was #9 striker. You'll remember him taking a penalty with his left against Everton that was a threat to planes.
  11. He was two footed. His right was very strong when it came to shooting and passing. It's just that his left is naturally dominant foot, and this was evident if you watched him receive the ball, run with it, etc. edit: Actually, quite sure he took penalties with both feet. The fact is that he was too much of a loose cannon to be on penalty duties period.
  12. Voted Barton as he's my favortie player to watch taken out of context. For Newcastle though, it is probaly Kadar, Ameobi, or Jonas.
  13. Sol Campbell  Listen, if you play the big bumbling grandfather against the Barca attack for two legs then the Barca boys will spell A-R-S-E-N-A-L over the two legs. It's all your opinion, Diablo, but there is nothing slow about the way Barca play. Sometimes they play very slow in the neutral areas of the pitch, but their play in the attacking zone is sharp and crisp.
  14. I can't really see Arsenal being able to defend Barca for 180 minutes. Chelsea and Man U have done it pretty well, but Arsenal have nowhere near their defensive discipline and Wenger will probaly not tell his boys to stay back. Really, I can't think of any part of the game Arsenal are superior in, especially if they are going into that match with Bendtner and Eduardo as their only strikers still.
  15. I was going to say Kanu, but then I remembered he's never scored a WC goal (or even a Nations cup goal) :-[ I was going to say Michael Owen, but then I realised he never won the Premier league (or any league for that matter) At the end of this season, does Kanu become to the first player to win the Premiership more than once and be relegated more than once?
  16. It is a sad state of affairs when one considers a match against Bayern Munich ansd then against the teams that have won Ligue 1 for eight years running as a bye. The fact of the matter is that both will be difficult to navigate for Man U, imo. Bayern and Lyon are good sides with experience in the competition, while it seems Bordeaux have saved their best football for Europe.
  17. They have an extremely difficult draw, man. Benfica than probaly Valencia, not easy at all. I think either Wolfsburg or Hamburg will win it. Don't see Fulham beating a Wolfsburg team that is suddenly in great form.
