  1. Bramble is a decent player, but I don't want to relive the past. It didin't work out the first time. Why try it again? He's moved on and we should do the same.
  2. That female referee kinds of looks like Marion Bartoli except much less sexy. I hope she does well really. I have no problem with female referees, they really can't be less competent than their male counterparts.
  3. It's not that uncommon with smaller clubs. Last year Gretna (Scottish Premier League) went out of existence forever. Just not something you usually see with teams at this level.
  4. What the hell has happened? I come back from lecture to this scoreline?! Bloody hell, man.
  5. Wolfsburg badly need some defenders. Maybe he will go there.
  6. If Carroll did what he's been accused of, then he ought to spend a week or so in jail. His actions were very inappropiate and dangerous.
  7. They can both play there even if it's not their preferred position. Similar to Essien at Chelsea I suppose.
  8. Marseille are finally finding their stride again I hope. 3-0 up against Valenciennes. Thought this was funny yesterday: Grenoble who previously had one win and 7 points in the entire season randomly came out and crushed Auxerre 5-0. Auxerre are in the top half and fighting for European places. Shock result of the year.
  9. I wouldn't have any problem with that at all. As long as everyone knows the way things are working any system is perfectly fine with me.
  10. To be fair, when you look at Ivanovic and Mikel (both younger than Arshavin) you'd think they could've fathered the majority of the Arsenal team that look like they are going through puberty. I think Wenger is biased against tall people as well as people over 25.
  11. Italian style flares at Stamford Bridge?
  12. I feel like Chelsea are not concerned with conceding corners at all. Arsenal only have two threats in the air, as Bendtner sits on the bench. Why is the commentator calling Arshavin young. He's 28-29, isn't he?
  13. Same with Eboue, is it not? Guy came on the scene looking like God's gift to fullbacks but fell off quite rapidly.
  14. Life can be so fragile. Imagine that this man was killed by a bin. Madness.
  15. Chelsea always seem so confident against Arsenal. No fear at all.
  16. I like that chant. It gets a point across about the owner, but is still supportive of the team. Sounds rather nice as well.
  17. This is the truth. To be compltely fair to them though, the team has looked very good in patches and went undefeated through qualifying as well as beating France. I'm hoping the ACN was the exception rather than the rule.
  18. "Own goals' is now Man Utd's second-highest scorer in the PL this season, with one more than Berbatov (8). Mishaps."
  19. I love big number as well. Personally I wear 55 and I love it.
  20. So, Nigeria sacked Shabiu Amodu as manager of the national team. Well actually he has been demoted to coach of the "local" national team. I think it is justified because of poor performance but it seems alot of people are very angry with the decision. Rumours linking Hiddink or Shetata, I doubt either will end up as the coach, but it would be amazing if we could get a high caliber manager like that. It's a bit of history repeating itself as well. In 2002, Amodu qualified the team for the World Cup, but was sacked after finishing third at the ACN. Exact same story this time around, I'm just hoping we have a better WC than in 2002, the team definitely has better players.
  21. Is that sarcasm or blindness? I swear the only time I heard his name today was when he was being taken off.
  22. Your team really was horrible today. I don't know what Moyes said at halftime, but Everton were absolutely rubbished by ten players. I also don't understand why it took until the 70th minute to get Yakubu/Anichebe/Any other attacking option on the pitch. The team had a man advantage and was a goal down for a significant amount of time and Moyes persisted with the one striker. Generally just a very violent and terrible game. There were about 15-20 yellow card worthy tackles but not one memorabkle attacking movement or even moment of quality.
