Living off a good Champions League season when they won it. Always been average imo. You have got to be kidding me. He has been poor this season but in the last 5 years or so, has been very good - one of Liverpool's top performers. So easy for a centre-back to look good when you've got a keeper like Reina behind you, and the likes of Alonso, Gerrard & Mascherano protecting you. My opinion's he's on a par with the likes of Dunne rather than Terry. Not really when he is blocking shot after shot and reading the game well. He has been named Liverpools player of the year a few times IIRC.. hardly average. Also whats the difference with Terry?.. he has Essien, Lampard, Ballack protecting him in front of a better keeper First off, Ballack hasn't protected anyone in like five years. Also, Terry is still one of the better centrebacks in the world, though he's dcelined. Carragher is the third best at his club.

3-0 Marseille. Cisse. This is fun. Combine this with Newcastle and it's a good Saturday.

Lucho opens his account for Marseille, and Niang doubles the advantgae with an absolutely brilliant counter attack goal. Things looking good.

Yakubu, Fellaini, and the Russian have cost at least 35 million British pounds sterling by themselves. He's had funds.

Nolan is one of the worst signings I can remember. 4 million spent on a proven Premiership player...and he is a liability in the Championship. Who sanctioned that for goodness sake? And to think we were linked with M'bia and Marco Donadel (would have cost about the same) as well. Rubbish.

I don't think a #10 is going to enjoy playing in the Championship, unless you have players to adequately protect him.
-
It definitely isn't though. It's better than Arsenal's isn't that you've said? Centrebacks man. Their fullbacks don't match up to that.

That is exactly why I expected us to struggle in this league and why the good start was such a surprise. If that was the case, then they had better snap out of it. Conversely, we basically used the same set of players in every match, so mentally and physically they must be very tired. That type of mindset is really only a problem when the players are jaded.

This might actually be the ultimate nightmare scenario as it will likely mean a midfield duo of Butt and Smith. Do you actually want us to go down another league? D you understand that any midfield duo that includes Butt is doomed to eternal failure., even Butt and Gerrard. You would seriously sign off on a midfield duo that includes Butt? You scare me. Do you realise you're exaggerating to a ridiculous degree. Also, one of Barton or Guthrie will be in the middle if they are fit.

Aye, it is definitely sound reasoning to criticise American and religious culture based on a parody site.
-
Yeah I know, he's not the main reason. I understand this. I'm just saying that he scored a goal that played a huge part in us going down. I'm not foolish enough to think it was actually his fault only. Just a bad memory I'd like to erase tbh.
-
He is the reason we lost our last home match.
-
Do you mean Diomansy? He can play wide, but I wouldn't want him here. He relegated us last season.

Cousin would be great in the Championship. Honestly, he'd look alright in the Premiership or Ligue 1 too. He's decent.

If you leave valuable objects laying on the ground in the street, people will steal them. Humans are a heartless species for the most part. There will always be someone willing to disrespect the dead.

Footballers are significantly smaller than players in other sports. I met the whole Nigeria and Chelsea squads and the only players my height were Cech and Kanu. When I went to an NBA game, the majority of the players and coaches were absolutely massive, and towered over everyone but the other players.

He should get a heavy suspension. (four matches at least). The celebration is clearly inflammatory behavior in my opinion. Also, he should be suspend a matches for every stud he stuck into Van Persie's face. That was uncalled for.

You're right, I'm not an 'educated football' like you, my spherical friend. I'm hoping they can peat PSG tonight, so we can stay fourth.......behind Montpellier BAM! Silly bear. You win! I shall change my ways, for I am a hypocrite.

And you're getting annoyed about the game and result, then have the bloody cheek to have a go at ME about being angry about something totally unrelated ! Hardly having a go. I made an observation. Since then you have just gone on constantly validating what I said. Really calm down. I dont want to argue with you. I'd definitely lose.

Now?? Being 6' 4 is the business, and always has been. My personal favourite is going to gigs and commenting on the footwear of the various members of the band to the vertically challenged people beside me. They're so busy straining for just a glimpse of the guys on stage that they don't realise they're having the piss taken out of them. Not a chance in hell Nile is 6'4 btw. 6 foot maybe. You're wrong Shak, being tall is rubbish for just about everything besides basketball. You only sit on an aeroplane or hit your head on a low ceiling to realise this. (nearly killed myself by walking into the top of a door last week.)
