The level of insanity that surrounds Newcastle United cannot be overstated.

I'd definitely be on ths site more for reaction and all that nonsense. If we go down, I won't be able to watch every match and news about the club will be harder to come by. So I'll be more reliant on the forum tbh.

What? Danny has been a starter this entire season when fit. That was before we signed Nolan. He was preferred to Butt before Joey's injury I believe.

Four or five simple passes, overlapping runs, defensive miscues and a massive gap between the shooter and the nearest defender. Blasted low into the opposite corner. Is that really what happened? or are you just rewatching the Arsenal match? Meh...I think I'll watch this on ESPN 360 later.

How did Salvador score? (watching the basketball)

I don't think Titus would want to come back, he's only just gotten rid of his demons.

I think we should play a 5-0-5. Just bypass the midfield of s***ness. Harper Beye Colo Bassong Taylor Enrique Owen Jonas Duff Loven Oba Yeah, it's impractical and probaly stupid. Several of those players are injured. But I don't care. I hate our midfield. It's damn near invisible anyway, so why don't we just bypass is.

Nigerian International Team <-- more overrated than England.

Well Isaac Asare and Nii Lamptey are Ghanians so I'm not too familiar with their careers, but I can tell you that Ogbehce was suspected of age cheating because he came out at such a young age and performed (Never was anything great though. That he played for the 2002 WC team was more an indictment of the poor management and general lack of talent that plagued the team more than Bart's real ability). After the WC, he really struggled to make an impact at PSG and ended up being shipped to the Middle East seemingly never to be seen again. However, as you say, he has managed to find his way out of the wilderness and back to a top flight team in Spain. I understand he is not first team regular, but he's been pretty good when I've seen him. So, I don't know what to think. In Nigeria he was written off as an age cheat because he disappeared, but those were only ever rumours. He's gone. Worst manager in the history of the National Team. I keep hearing European sources saying that he "couldn't come to grips with the trials and tribulations of African football." Bulls***! He can't cope with anything because he's absolutely s*** at his job. Manages Azerbaijan now. About his level. It's all good man. *I was going to insert a stereotyped Norway joke here, but then I realised I don't know a f***** thing about Norway and their stereotypes tbh. -
Just so know, France and Italy weren't the best two teams in 2006. I mean Argentina have been the "best team" in the last two WC and the farthest they've gone is the quarterfinals.

N. Ireland v. Ireland and Israel v. Palestine are two matches I want to see (not attend) before I die.

Geremi has been absolutely atrocious btw. I'm amazed he's still on the pitch.

An Ireland-Scotland playoff for a place in the WC would be pretty fun to watch.

Sudan equalises against Mali Togo lead Cameroon (Which is stunning since Togo are awful)

If they want 2 million british pounds for a player who has no experience anywhere, then she go about our business and move our efforts elsewhere. That's an absolutely ridiculous fee.

Before the call-up, West had been playing for years in what was then National First Division league for various clubs, notably Sharks, Obanta United, Enugu Rangers and then Julius Berger. In the course of our thorough investigations, we found that three of the players licences from different clubs endorsed by the NFA League Department bore three different dates of birth. We also found out, based on NFA documents that for the player to be 18 at the time, he would have been playing top class football in Nigeria at the age of 12. Here I found this real quick (about Mr. West being called up to u-20 squad) The culture has changed though as football on the continent has progressed. I will admit a significant number of players in the generation before utilised this. -

I don't want to say any current players. That whole allegations thing. One name that jumps out though is Taribo West. -
What exactly is a derisory offer for someone who has not yet finished puberty. Something's wrong when MFK Kosice are trying to extort us.

1997 What on earth did England win in 1997? that's because they all lied about their ages You know something man...I hate you. I've seen like two of your posts and my dislike of you is greater than any other member on this forum, even NE5. I'm sorry. Honestly. Out of the players on the listed...a couple ring out as obvious age cheats, but for the most part age cheating is something that is not as prevalent among the top African nations anymore, especially now as the boys are leaving for Europe at very young ages. -
Maybe it's a cultural thing, but I am always amazed at the amount of English people who don't care about their national team. I can't even imagine not caring about my country. It's the same with pretty much everyone I know. I mean even the old ladies in my family are very interested during the major tournaments. I mean is it just an English thing, or do the Irish and Welsh (I woudn't blame them tbh ) have the same mentality as well.

Very arrogant statement. Slovakia (like most teams at that level) have some very decent players (thinking of Hamsik, Skrtel, Vittek, etc.). It is very important that England go out and handle their business quickly. Pretty average if you ask me. About Nigeria's level. Ahh! What have I done to deserve any of this?! Actually, you are right Mr. Disco. I didn't realise the Slovakia match was a friendly, and that's why I perceived your comment as really arrogant. Slovakia are not the ideal team I'm sure, but it is probaly very difficult to find a decent match that day since the majority of the teams in WCQ will be playing on that date.
