Officials have been told that not all contact is a foul. He consciously decided not to put his right foot down. I’ve no problem if the ref had given it real time but I have a real problem with it being overturned as clear and obvious. This entitled to go down shite was to be stopped.
-
It’s just not clear and obvious……..
-
Is that the 3rd penalty we’ve conceded this season already?
-
Clear and obvious my arse

Not a pen ffs

I’ll go back the mach and cricket and tell her to shut up then.
-
That’d be our lass then, I don’t do Twitter. Soz if it’s a fake, it’s just popped up for her (the tweet).

Could they not trust the fans to be silent? It’s not a clapping tribute, show proper respect please.

I hope the backroom staff aren’t being a bit needy and that Newcastle is a long way from home perhaps. Or, that there’s a job for the boys element. They’re pissing me off a bit now. This is a massive opportunity, they should be all buzzing for this. I don’t want anyone coming in who isn’t 100% invested in the job or needs excessive persuasion.
-
Yeah I don’t think he’d have under Ashley with promises of new wheelie bins and paddling pools. We need to get a DOF in now and give the fans something to look forward too.
-
Good luck to him. Fantastic opportunity he’s got. Come Onnnnn.

Should just sing the theme tune to How. Just the one word and an easy melody.
-
We need to rebuild the spine of the team and others at least 4 other positions we need to fill first if we’re to try and fit Courtinho in.
-
Bit gutted but it’s a huge job and if that person isn’t 100% committed it’s better they don’t come. If Mandy is on probation with PIF she’s behind the game. We’ve heard precious little so far, Bruce should have been sacked day 1 and this Emery business doesn’t reflect well. Whoever comes in now does so with everyone knowing they weren’t really wanted.
-
Get Rafa on the blower to Emery. There’s some absolute shite being spouted about expectations and after days of silence why let news out when nowt been agreed?
-
I’d be delighted with Emery. If we somehow do get a top coach for in they’ll be coming in with no illusions of the job they’ve got on their hands. Emery comes across as a very determined, organised bloke. Just what we need.

I mentioned this yesterday but Jones had a word with Ritchie midway through the 1st half, presumably about the space James was enjoying. They’ll have had HT to talk about it as well; nothing changed. I’ve no idea wtf went there. Tuchel clearly recognised the weakness we have in this area, we seemed to know this as well..... Is Krafth being picked because he has a long throw, why is Longstaff being picked and ASM has gone missing in action. Brighton will be painful to watch. They are organised, pass the ball well, have a plan and believe in what they’re doing. Fraser and Longstaff need benched, Willock and Almiron need to come in. Christ knows what we do with the defence, I’d bench Clark and Krafth for starters and if Lamptey gets a start up against Ritchie it’ll be carnage down that side. Ritchie will be the bet of the weekend to get booked. I’m waiting for Joel and Hendrick to get starts tbh.

Going to take a brave and extremely confident manager to take this on. Either that or an unproven punt on someone. I don’t see any belief in the side at the minute. That last minute penalty at home to Soton and the 2 points thrown away at Watford are looking huge right now.

Not read any of the recent posts.I’m on the train home as I type but, if Jones is such a good coach why did James, who was the man over, with 10 yards of space all of the 1st half manage to come out in the 2nd half and casually put 2 goals in? Jones pulled Ritchie to the side after 20 minutes to have a word about it yet and James ran unchallenged for the whole game. If today showed one thing it was the importance of the coach and manager. Chelsea were like a machine.

Running at speed with the ball, breaking the lines, pulling teams out of shape; Dyer was better than just about anyone. Such an underrated and important ingredient in a team. Dyer was a great player for us, frustrating yes, but he could win a game with a single run. When we lost to Brazil in the quarter finals Dyer could have made all the difference.

So Ashley actively suppressed our commercial activities, we’re now the wealthiest club in the world, with an increasing exposure because of this. Who knows where we’ll be in 5 years time. How much is that worth then. It’s almost comical the obstacles that are being chucked at us. We need to go in heavy handed to stop all this nonsense. I’d have been happy with a single League Cup. I hope we knock some these owners and some of their fans completely out of the park.
