For those that believed that we needed to maintain momentum and wanted to top the group, do you stay believe that? All in all I'm struggling to see why he's getting praised. In terms of link up play and helping to build attacks Sterling has been far better yet for some reason is getting way more criticism. Lingard’s energy has been crucial, his end product needs improving but his constant movement has disrupted defensive shapes and created space for us to play in. Alli is really struggling so him scoring was great. We can do Croatia with our set pieces and need to test their fitness, quick and safe early on and see how they shaping up after an hour.
