Nee idea, think he was confiscated by HMRC this morning as part of their investigation.

We spent something like 55 Million last year. We've got shit loads of players to peddle and they could bring in 15-20 Million depending who goes (Mitro/ Diame/ Sels/ Mbemba/ .....) and we'll shift some from the wage bill (Gouffran/ Anita, perhaps Krul/ DeJong) and they'll be others. Players like Hanley and Murphy would be attractive to Championship clubs. We need to make a decision on a Keeper (do we need a new one), buy a right back, a centre back, a central midfielder, a right winger and a centre forward as a bare minimum. There's over 60 Million to buy what would be average PL quality. We'll no doubt look for value abroad but Rafa will have his list of targets already and the budget required. He'd have every right to walk if we give him 50 Million. He's got a massive job on his hands and he needs to get players in early so that we hit the ground running. Sadly, history suggests none of this will happen and we could end up with another parasite manager who's sole aim is to survive and collect his bit. Big couple of months coming up.

If he is on 50k a week he has to go. He's been targeted as a weak link by a few opposing sides recently and his positioning was woeful last night. He's too small, it's a simple as that, forget about his other attributes or failings. He's shown that he can't cut in the PL as a midfielder and you can't have him at full back when high diagonals are all it takes to take him out of the game. It was embarrassing last night.

So you're suggesting that you should be able to just pass to yourself from the penalty? Because players would try this? Sod having a shot, think I'll play KINGO with the post and tap in the rebound?? Why would you play it off the post if you could just tap it 5 yards forward and then take the net off when you decide to shoot?

Washington was more Nufc than Safc when I lived there; not sure what it's like since The City of Sunderland annexed it and droves of Mackems took refuge in The Galleries every weekend to save on utility bills. Washington Village is equidistant between Newcastle and Sunderland and Newcastle is far easier to get to by public transport. Absolutely gets my goat every time when Washington is referred to as part of Sunderland. When I was primary school age Sunderland may as well have been on Mars as far as Washington residents were concerned, there were miles of fields between the two and there was a single bus service which took for ever. The bus service to Newcastle was great, started and finished in Cincord. Rant over.

When we got back to 1-1 we needed the senior players to step up and make it known in no uncertain terms that we'd been given a 2nd chance in the game and that we had to put everything into the remaking time. I couldn't see any talking or any encouragement; something is just not right. Lascelles is not a captain on the pitch, Hanley is the captain of Scotland and said nowt, Ritchie and Shelvey are too self indulgent when they needed to supportive to others, it was pathetic stuff. Rafa has to play what he believes to be his best 11 for the remaining games. We need a strong unit from here on in, rotation is a killer when results are against you.

Lost for words at the lack of anything here. Where's the leaders on the pitch? We need someone driving these towards a result; we're accepting defeat here.

We've got players in their pj's having supped a big mug of Horlicks. We need to inject some urgency and there's nowt there. We're missing Gayle here.

Awful stuff from Diame and Atsu so far. Murphy done nowt but he's had no service. We've been so slow, Diame shouldn't be anywhere near starting, we've got big problems here.
