The Ref came over to the sidelines and the 4th Official had a tablet with him and repeatedly told him the correct rule; the Ref was having none of it or didn't have the balls to admit he was wrong. It was a complete farce, Rafa was absolutely livid. There was only 1 person in the whole ground who thought it should be a free kick to Burton. I'd have that idiot made to explain what exactly went on, why he wouldn't change his decision and then I'd suspend him for a month. Shelvey lost his head for the next 5 minutes and lunged into a couple of challenges; the consequences if he'd been sent off and we'd not won could have been the difference between going up or not. You can't have huge outcomes being heavily affected by a Ref not knowing a basic rule. It was chaos; I've seen nowt like it.

Forgot to mention this earlier, but when the idiot gave the free kick all of the players lined up as if the penalty was about to re-taken. It takes them a good few seconds to realise that the ref is an imbecile at which point the Burton players start sneaking away up the pitch. When the ref was chatting to the 4th official and it became clear that he wasn't going to change his mind Clough was doing all he could to get his keeper to take the free kick as he clearly knew that the ref had dropped a huge bollock and he was worried he'd suddenly remember the correct rule. Twenty Four hours on and I'm still in disbelief.

The ref made his decision, nobody had a clue what he was going on, he then went over to the 4th official who looked like he had a tablet and they basically argued for 5 minutes, Rafa was going ape s***. Someone closer to it than me said at HT that the 4th official was continually telling the ref that he was wrong. Mind blowing stuff really.

That was the worst decision I've ever seen in any match. The 4th official told the ref he'd got it woefully wrong and the ref wouldn't accept it. It took them 5 minutes to sort that bit out and the ref added only 3 mins to the end of the half. Unbelievable.

He was having a dig, no doubt about it. If he'd just left it at "even though you're a woman" and "a bit of a slap" he might have been able to label it as bad craic but he follows it up with "you'd better watch yourself the next time you're here". It's playground stuff but if I said that to a member of the public or a third party professional whilst at work I'd be hauled over the coals. Unbelievably stupid way to react.

Scored 2 belters yesterday.

He'll get roasted in the PL, square him up and he has the turning circle of a Tanker, the slightest pace once he's square completely does him. He was done in the first half in an embarrassment of a 1 on 1 and he got done again for the goal (albeit the Wigan lad did well). I seriously think he may have to go.

Just watched Huddersfield's hi-lights; down to 10 men shit or bust football. Crackers.

Took the worst shot I've seen for a good few seasons today. Made a few good interceptions with a flurry of ridiculously cheap free kicks. Hope his shot gets shown, can't remember a shot going so off target so quickly.

Was he their manager? Anyway he was going ape shit most of the match. Looked a stone wall penalty to me. Referee had a stinker, the number of times he shrugged his shoulders as in couldn't see was staggering.

Beardsley is simply making a living the best he can. He has a good gig at Nufc and isn't going to rock the boat. Plenty people in plenty jobs do the same thing everyday. He's never going to be a pundit, he lacks charisma and isn't that bright. Good luck to him just don't take what he says seriously. As for his career; nobody turned Liverpool down, they were a fantastic side and no wonder he'll talk about them. He was a brilliant player and you'd struggle to find any player enjoy playing more. He took his brother Ronnie all over the world to see him play. Let's be honest, once he leaves Nufc that's him done, yes he should be a very rich man but I doubt he's ready to pack up work just now. God knows how much he make if he was still playing.

RIP, sad news.

Nah, he was a good player. Would had taken him and Phillips from Sunderland. and put them on the bench?

Looked like his leg snapped.

Now singing "have you ever seen a German win a war". Seriously, what a load of knackers.

Back on RTG - think this viewpoint was a chance missed in the Appeal process: "Huge part of the reason we're getting relegated is because he's not here anymore. One of the few with genuine ability, the sentence is a pity for Safc just as much as it is for him"

I'd have sent him off
