  1. Had it confirmed that we have enquired about Tomkins. Also reckons that Tomkins is better as a defensive midfielder as he's a bit soft for a centre half. Not something that goes down well with Fat Sam.

    Loïc Remy

The cynic in me tells me that for this to happen and to happen this quickly that Colo is off.
  3. Oh colocinni u r the love of my life, oh colocinni u should leave your wife, oh colocinni she's not here anymore..
  4. I think we have to accept he wants to leave; these stories won't go away and he hasn't denied them. We need 2 cb's now, oh dear.

    Sir Alex Ferguson

He's clearly not wanting to risk losing potential liver donors. [email protected]
  6. Is Pardew really suggesting that today's tactics were to keep it tight for 70 mins (as if) and then unleash Marveaux? Must of the side today were pedestrian at best. The hoof ball from Krul and Williamson has been painful all season but we forfeited the game today and that's almost unforgivable. There's not many competitions or seasons in those competitions were you have a chance of doing something. I'm sickened by the sides we've put on the field these last few seasons. Do we think he'll play his strongest side against Metalist; will he fuck. Roll out another excuse. I know lads who've been to Brighton 2 years running and those fans deserve much much better. We had a few players out, yes, but that was turgid today and completely unacceptable. Htf are we supposed to attract better players the way we're performing? What a fuck up.

There's been plenty of rumour of a bit of trouble in the dressing room, one thing is for sure, the fringe players struggle to put a shift in (I'll except Bigi from that) and there's no self motivation out on the pitch. We should beat the drop but we'll have a huge summer ahead. Hopefully the arrival of Debuchy will keep Cabaye but HBA and others may get itchy feet.

Piss off with spouting shite; you picked the team. You wanted out of the cup today.
  10. I'm absolutely disgusted with that. I'd love to see us win the Cup and the bastards no longer even try to get through.
  11. They should refund the fans for this. Disgusting. Pardew should be made to grovel in his post match excuse.
  12. There's been absolutely no pressure on the ball. That's the least that should be expected. You don't need talent for that. Shite.
  13. The shock result result here would be us winning. With that starting 11 and call us say Barnsley I know who'd be expected to win.
  14. Ben Arfa for me. If Woodgate had stayed and stayed fit then he could have been the one. We were a good team and he was the defensive missing piece. For those who didn't see him and for those who have seen Nufc for the last 40 idd years he was head and shoulders above any centre back we've had. He should have been England's main centre back for the next decade. What a waste. Anyway; all the best.
  15. We all knew this was on the cards. No point moaning about it, we just have to hope that we have the right replacement lined up. Ba has been fantastic for us and we've done well to hold on to him this long. It's a great opportunity for him but I think he'll see plenty of bench time come next season. As others have said it should solve the Ba/ Cisse problem. One problem we do face us a lack of physicality up front; Cisse doesn't pose a threat and Shola usually uses his size with the threat of the Honey Monster.
  16. Arsenal scored 7 from 10 attempts on goal. Those stats don't add that we gifted most of those situations. We did well everywhere apart from the defence and Tiote. Ashley; show us your money.
  17. It was a clear yellow and easily could have been red. The look on Valencia's face suggested to me that he knew it was a bad challenge. Valencia has been on the wrong end before which made the challenge a but worse for me.
  18. We really struggle to break down defences that stand off us. We are very predictable. Is was great to see Krul playing the ball short but unbelievable that once we scored he resorted to booting it upfield. Jonas had clearly been told to great crosses in but he no longer can go past a man. Cisse was well pissed off but we needed a goal and given that he had to come off as opposed to Ba. Our movement remains very poor and the only player who looks like he can take a player on is Santon. All in all we struggled against a very limited team.
