  1. Booked Bordeaux, £59 return Ashford to Paris, £36 return Paris to Bordeaux. Just need cheap tickets to London now.
  2. Not sure - probably £20 or so. If you book through Thomas Cook you'll get a ticket but see nowt of Bruges or Bordeaux which defeats the object imo. The Eurostar deal is fantastic, I paid around £80 (x 2) more last week.
  3. Eurostar are doing £59 return to Brussels and Paris book by 15 Sept and covers dates for Bruges and Bordeaux. Great deal - too late for me. Just need to get to St Pancras or one of the other stations. http://www.eurostar.com/UK/uk/leisure/eurostar_deals/59_promo.jsp?utm_expid=32331793-3&utm_referrer=http%3A%2F%2Fm.hotukdeals.com%2Fdeals%2Fparis-brussels-for-59-return-eurostar-1303848
  4. He hasn't been useless this season, he has scored 1 in 3 which contributed a big part to us getting 3 points. Don't notice the Cisse thread being bumped He's looked somewhat lethargic. Cisse is the same and he needs a goal. I'm hoping to see major improvement after the international break.
  5. He was pretty useless at the start of last season. Let's see what he's like after 6 games.
  6. Eurostar went up quickly. Booked Ncle - Leeds, Eurostar Leeds - Brussels. £160. Also 2 nights in Bruges, twin room for around £55 per room per night. Now sweating on match tickets.
  7. What a load of bollocks. It's what we he reckoned. I'm not into ITK bollocks; I'll happily pm one of the Admin with why I believe my source is genuine (what he tells me could be shite).
  8. I got talking to a bloke I regularly see but had never talked to before. He works for WH and told me about Douglas being a right greedy git. He said at that WH still hoped to get AC and would buy - we'd offered 1M for the loan then a further 11M if we stayed up. AC's dad wants him back up here. What seems to be happening here is that AC doesn't want to go to WH, Rogers doesn't want him and Lpool will not do business with as we're taking the piss. I understand Lpool still owe us 18M which is what they want for him.

    Douglas

Don't normally do any ITK stuff and this is hardly rocket science stuff; a number of clubs have agreed a few for him but are being quoted astronomical wages. By chance I may have stumbled on someone who will (if he says what he does is true) have very reliable info.
  10. Which is ? That he buys at what he believes to be a good price, with sell on value and will sell when the price is right. I feel like I'm missing something with you feeling the need to ask.
  11. Anita didn't come to sit on the bench - selling Tiote for at least a 10M profit fits in with what we know of Ashley. The fact the we also bought Bigi as an up and coming youngster it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Tiote is allowed to leave. We'll survive and I've little doubt that creatively Anita is a far better player. Just hope that his defensive play is up to the job in the PL - it was a very niaive challenge for the penalty yday.

Larrson in the middle would be fun. If they play all 3 away from home they'll be in some high scoring games. They'll need to find a way to keep Sessegnon involved as there has to be a risk that he'll become a bit peripheral to their pattern. Hopefully Marty has splashed all the cash available to him and Colback doesn't turn into Scholes. They've undoubtedly strengthened and Johnson can be a class act but they've still got a way to go. Some of them are talking about Dawson - he would be a good signing.

How do Seb "Dead Ball King" Larrson, James "The Irish Messi" McLean and Adam "Magic" Johnson all fit in their starting line up? How well will Sess "Better than Ben Arfa" egnon link up with "Stephen "The most expensive Scots player ever - ergo the best" Fletcher? Seriously; how?

    Season Tickets

Mine arrived yesterday, mates now on hols so his ticket is lying on a doormat where no-one can use it. Ridiculous.
  15. Wish we'd just stump up if we're talking about 500k. If we'd signed him a month ago we'd have already paid him a minimum 120k in wages. Seems a bit mad to me.

    Season Tickets

Mine not turned up yet; go on hols so will miss Spurs. I want to give my ticket to my dad; friend who lives down in N Yorks was going to give his to my brother as he's going on hols and his hasn't arrived. What a load of bollocks. Might give the box office a ring and see what they can do. There'll be 2 unused season tickets sitting on floors as things stand.
  17. It's a strange one; Simpson made some vital clearances last season but he is very limited going forward and struggles against pace. From what we've seen Debuchy is on another level and I can only think that we've pissed about too much and dropped a bit of a bollock in negotiations. At one stage there's no doubt the club thought it was in the bag.
  18. Radio Newcastle reported that Deschamps said the Cabaye was left out for "multiple" injuries, no idea what to make of that.
  19. Brazil reckons he's mates with Decca. I'd be a bit disappointed if Pardew wasn't kicking up a bit of a fuss. If we are being given the come and get me signs from quality players in positions that would strengthen I'd expect him to be banging the doors down to get them in. Trouble is that Mike does what Mike wants.
  20. Seems to me that we are playing it very tight at the moment. Ba is now unlikely to leave which you may imagine has freed up some money or provided some leeway. I'm taking this as a sign that we are negotiating on several fronts. For a man that is happy to gamble millions on games of chance he's a right twat when dealing with actual people. He clearly doesn't like to feel that somebody has got the better of him. Give Lille almost what they want and remember we did them for Cabaye.
  21. RIP. Shepherd and some of the players did for Sir Bobby. Fans who think he was passed it only need to remember what happened to us next. I was furious when he was sacked; the team let him down at the end of the previous season and at the start of the next season we got 2 points out of 9 when we should have had 9. JFH punched a last minute equaliser for boro, we battered Spurs at home and lost 1-0 and then lost concentration at home to Norwich after we led 2-0 and were coasting. He was royally shafted and the image of him leaving the ground and the obvious subsequent hurt in his immediate interviews afterwards put those involved to shame. It makes me sick when history is rewritten. He loved the club, the region and was a very proud man. He pulled the club up when it was down and should have been shown more loyalty. We played some fantastic football during his time here. RIP.
