Good luck Andy and no blame on the club providing the money goes back into the team come the summer.
-
I'll bet Ashley is busy finding out what he can get for £10 million before Monday night. Boothroyd and Krankjar (spelling) and £13 million for Aspers might tempt him.
-
The club he'd stayed loyal to had been taken over by a w*****, he f***ed KK over, had showed zero ambition or intent and we had just been absolutely humiliated at home by Lpool. MC got him on the cheap but he was a great servant and sometimes you have to leave something you love. Owen on the other hand...........

1974 cup final, I'd been to a few games but this was the first time I'd seen them live on the telly and it was THE game of the season. I cried when Alec Lyndsey scored in the first half (disallowed) and spent the whole of the 2nd half in some kind of self denial over the mauling we were on the end of.

Stick Charlotte Jackson into Google Images and see what that returns. AG and RK may be a couple of knackers and they've been strung up by them. Yes companies have these policies, they have to by law, but this kind of banter goes unpunished day in and day out and it is also a two way street, put a group of women together and can easily be worse than a group of men. There's a moral high ground been taken here and it's a position not all will have any right to take.
-
Will Sue Barker have to resign for suggestive comments made ON AIR about David Ginola? Or was that just banter? I'm confused.
-
Are you employed? Was Jim Davidson's joke writer but times change. The point I was intending to get across is that AG and RK are like a couple of school kids with playground humour. I'll bet there are numerous other bits of footage with them being equally stupid. Doesn't make it right but for whatever reason they've been hung out to dry by Sky - why now? Do you think Sky will replace AG with a female pundit even if they proved themselves the best person for the job?
-
Is the natural progression to this that we get a female pundit to replace Andy Gray; perhaps Deliah Smith though would she be done for wanting to "have" everybody? At some point in the future we will have a self imposed state style television where opinions and any potentially "offensive" statement can not be said. Sky have set a standard which will have other presenters watching their every word. I find the whole thing a bit mad.

It's not a private conversation though. They had mic's on, their conversation went through to the gallery where other people can hear it. These two know that. They have worked in TV long enough. They hardly sounded like they were joking either, there was no laughing, they sounded quite venomous. You cannot say that someone cannot do the job because of their sex, it's wrong! They didn't base their assessment of how she would do on anything other than the fact she was a woman. If they are men, they should face their punishment like men! Sorry, they thought it was private. It did sound to me like they were simply playing at being stereotypical. It would be interesting to hear the rest of it. I completely agree that the best person should do the job whatever that job may be.
-
It was a couple of blokes having a private conversation acting like school boys. I can't believe that they genuinely believed what they were saying and were simply playing a pair of fools. If the pair of them had witnessed the fuck wits we've had running the line this year then a one legged, one eyed, colour blind, Greenham Common lesbian would be welcome. That skinny little twat we had on Saturday didn't have a fucking clue.

Europe: would you take, er, 5th place right now?
Tsunami replied to kirkwdavis2001's topic in Football
Would be lovely but we are not good enough to qualify. What gets me is that teams push for qualification and then treat the competition with contempt by fielding weakened teams. Our squad would be cruelly exposed in European competition. Should also be said that fans don't support European competition through the turnstiles. -
For the last 15 minutes or so Spurs attacked our right and we were caught two on one at right back. He bottom line is that goal we conceded was poor from front to back and Pardew should have taken action to protect our right hand side. Btw Spurs got of jail big time and we should gave been comfortable before they put the pressure on us. Somehow the streams they have been watching showed us as a team of thugs who were outplayed for large parts Of the game.......
-
We were caught like that following a poor ball from Barton and a set up suggesting we werevchasing the game. Ranger had just missed a great chance (should have passed) and we were caught far too far up field. Very poor play, Bartons reaction to the goal showed what he thought.
-
Just read some Spurs messageboards; didn't realise we were playing Brazil or that I was at another game today........
-
Disappointed in Spurs but more so the goal we conceded. Barton had a really good game but gave away a simple ball which caught us completely out of position. we looked tired in the last 15 mins or so and didn't look after the ball well enough in that time.
-
Just saying like, glad Dave can put my mind at rest.
-
Lad on SMB reckons he has turned down 2 contract offers and will be away in the summer. Same lad correctly called Carroll out of the derby and gave Fulham away as a comeback target.
-
Smith was doing ok yday. Tasty tackle he took. I thought Web was very lenient with some if the mackem challenges.
-
Fantastic business for the mackems. Hope they don't spend it wisely.
-
Played well today; woeful miss though.
-
That felt like a defeat. What fucking awful, lucky goal. The mackems will treat his like a win.
-
We've done well so far. I expected the mackems to have a fast start but we started the better team. First goal vital in this game now. Come on Shola.
-
We can't be held to ransom in wages for a player where we are just number of options. We've been down that road too many times before.

FA reject unfair dismissal appeal from NUFC for Cheik Tiote
Tsunami replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
I refuse to believe that Smith will play. He'd be booked within 10 mins and would be shit for whatever time he was on before being sent off. We have to move Barton inside and give Routelege the opportunity. The only other real option is to play Gutherie inside and that isn't much of a better option than playing Smith. Pardew didn't half fuck up with that substitution; I can't help feel that he has cost us a chance of getting something out of the game. The mackems will be at us like rabid dogs and Tiote would be vital in breaking play up and giving us a bit time on the ball. -
FA reject unfair dismissal appeal from NUFC for Cheik Tiote
Tsunami replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
There is an angle which shows Tiote is nowhere near the man (especially when you consider the real time speed). However as the FA/ FIFA want to stop players leaving the ground then there is no chance of winning. I would add that De Jongs challenge was in a different league; his was intended to take the player and the scissor action was disgraceful. I have seen comments saying one was as bad as the other; no they weren't, Tiote took his frustration out on the ball, De Jong was clattering our flair player early on and went way overboard with it.
