They've probably only done that to accommodate Fury.

Sounds to me like they're taking the '125 years is a load of guff' line, with a snide little reference in their match preview. Hopefully they promote it a bit better today /tomorrow. -

Their Bobby one is smashing. -
Was one of my favourite footballing moments of the last 10 years tbf It was hilarious. Such an outrageous strike as well.

Its like one of them dreams where you are at the office with no trousers on

Wish we had Austin as one of our options up front, like. The bloke knows how to score goals.

As optimistic as ever, SUPERTOON.

Who you supporting? any of the plucky upstarts Me too. Germany. I always used to have an extensive list of likes and dislikes - "w***, w***, w***, good guy, w***, good guy" etc. Soft spot for the Soviet Bloc for some reason, always liked Mexico. Right, gonna give it a go and rank in order in a gratuitously unsystematic manner, find out where my head is at now I'm way to old to care: 1. England, 2. Australia, 3. Iceland, 4. Korea (because Son, Oldtype, SE Asia), 5. Japan, 6. Denmark (because Eriksen), 7. Panama (underdogs), 8. Costa Rica, 9. Croatia (because Modric), 10. Mexico (because chance of great party in local restaurant). 11. Egypt, 12. Morocco, 13. Tunisia (quite like North African teams), 14. Iran, 15. Belgium (because Spurs players), 16. Poland, 17. Peru (down because they knocked out New Zealand in cuntish fashion), 18. Colombia (because least unlikeable of S America), 19. Germany (because 7-1, despite Germany), 20. Senegal, 21. Serbia, 22. Switzerland 23. Nigeria, 24. Sweden, 25. Russia (because hosts, despite best national anthem), 26. Uruguay (lower because Suarez), 27. France, 28. Spain, 29. Argentina, 30. Brazil, 31. Saudi Arabia (because politics), 32. Portugal. Basically, Mike meant he's supporting Liverpool. -
Good read, that.

Packed a lot of conditions into that post Let me dream of PL survival with moderate spending in peace.
-
What are you going on about, man?
-
If we pick up more than 6 points in the next 5 games (hopefully not beyond the realms of possibility) I'd be reasonably content going into the second half of the season, providing we spend that rumoured £20m in January/a takeover actually happens.
-
I quite like WBA, so I feel a great deal of pity for them. He had the lowest points per game ratio in 2016 of all PL and Football League clubs, for fucks sake! This is absolutely mental. How has this been allowed to happen?

I'm probably against it. Would rather we did up SJP in terms of its interior and facilities and try and improve the atmosphere as it is. I think it can still get going when everyone's up for it. Atmosphere this season has been good and the Leeds and Barnsley games last season were class. A new ground in Leazes Park or somewhere quite close to the current SJP site I wouldn't be wholly against. I'd hate to see us move elsewhere or flatten the current stadium. Love it's lopsidedness and like you say, it's still capable of a belting atmosphere when everyone's up for it. It's in dire need of a good all round freshen up though.

One for the football pet hates, that. I can understand a 'keeper not having his gloves on, but why don't they sit there in their shin pads and boots all ready to go? Rectangles.
