I can't get my head around his decision making this year, today's set up was laughable. I really don't know where he's trying to take the team.
-
I think it's incredibly harsh to say he's out of form, he's still providing some excellent creativity and drive for us. He had a good first half, created 2 very good openings but was far sloppier in the second but he is only human after all.
-
Finally goes with 4-3-3 and starts Shola as the RW Fair enough play the lad in a 4-4-2 but I don't see why Cisse wouldn't have been a much better choice today considering he's actually a good and physically fit footballer. He has some serious work to do, he doesn't appear to have a lot of control at the minute.

Quite a few of their lot hanging round town at half 8 this morning, one of them shouting 'suck my balls' at some woman on Northumberland street provided an interesting start to the day. -
Completely agree. I miss the days when Cheik was simply our destroyer, it's like he's now the heart and soul of the team's 'fight'.

Just depends on how we set up, we tried to play the offside line in that one and got punished. We rectified that in the return leg mind, hopefully we set up the same.
-
Not surprised Johnson's not doing well for them, incredibly overhyped and predictable player.

Isn't the man to fill Tiote's boots over the next 3 games as he lacks the power to play in a 2 man midfield, Perch is very good there. I think he'll be excellent for us but only in either a 3 man midfield or at RB. -
He's a good player but somehow has been elevated way above his station within the squad. He came here as a defensive midfielder and has been turned into some all action engine room and labelled a 'warrior'. It's not really his fault but I think he's fallen for the hype himself or is just trying too hard to be what's expected of him. The coaching team simply need to go back to basics with him (and with a few other things as well), he's not been the same since Pardew's comments a while back about him being much more than just a defensive midfielder.

Worked really hard and provided a couple of nice moments. Was never going to be a match that showcased his attacking talents after Tiote went off.

QPR are lucky to have Granero.

So good today, made Fletcher look the mediocre jock he is.
-
You could see Shola is a much better fit with the 4-4-2 from the off, that contributed to a decent performance in that period but it's still not the way forward IMO.
-
Actually I thought his decision to not change a completely shagged Ba was risky, we needed some fresh legs up there but I thought he was spot on apart from that.
-
I could see his thinking today and thought it was fair enough comsidering the occasion but I hope from now on, he goes with a more attacking approach. We need to start progressing.

Disappointed with how we've lined up even it was entirely predictable. 1-1.
