  5. Lets build a wrestling dream team at NUFC. Is Tony McMahon still duffing around in the Championship somewhere?

I don't even think it'll be something as significant as that. "EXCLUSIVE: Carver tries new flavour of Lypsyl, says licks taste better than ever!"

SSN just now: "some potentially BIG NEWS from the Newcastle United training ground coming-up!" Prepare to be totally underwhelmed. *lick*
  9. A spineless man who's due a considerable pay-off.
  10. NUFC is a soulless husk of Sports Direct advertisements. My passion's all but gone. I live in Aberdeen, but I've loved Newcastle all my life. My Dad's a lifelong fan, which rubbed-off on me growing-up. I remember the days when an NUFC win would ensure I was absolute buzzing all weekend long, while a loss would make me want to hide in my room and never come out. Now, I just feel apathetic. I can't get angry about these cunts anymore. They've sucked the life out of me. Last season I bought a season ticket for Aberdeen for the first time in 9 years, just so I have some football to enjoy while the vampires suck the life out of NUFC. My old man and I used to come down to Newcastle half-a-dozen times a season, but not any more. We've both resolved to not come back until something happens. Perhaps I'm all that's wrong with our support, but whatever. It's like being stuck in a long, drawn-out relationship with someone I absolutely despise but just can't detach myself from. Awful.
  11. Watched these blokes play against Aberdeen on Thursday night. They're not very good.

  15. Been put in-charge of organising City's Christmas party according to the Football Ramble. Now that's a shindig I'd like to attend...
  16. Only manager in Inter history to leave the club without winning a single match. Oops. Bit harsh on Novara that all the talk of Gasperini's sacking and Inter's capitulation has completely overshadowed their performance last night. They were better than Inter in every department last night. Obviously Inter are pants at the moment, but the gulf in class is still pretty huge.
  17. Can't see Gasperini lasting the season. Fair enough, big changes need time and it's wrong to expect great results from his system immediately, but three at the back is clearly ill-suited to Inter. Hope Enrique gets a bit of time though: Roma is a very interesting project.
  18. Decent enough game but both teams are obviously lacking a bit of fluidity at the moment. Hopefully Stekelenburg only has a minor concussion because it looked horrible. Not sure what Lucio was up to though: accidentally kicks a guy in the head, then goes down pretending to be injured. That guy, man. That bloody guy.
  19. Redknapp's Cayman Island branch shut on Tuesdays? This is such a pointless transfer. It also proves that 'Arry is a total bellend and will buy anyone with a name if it is a deal. He admitted he hadn't even thought of the player until Madrid had contacted him. I imagine the situation was Real Madrid getting desperate to get rid of a named player they didnt want and the phone call was as below (they got a cockney from Real Madrid to phone him for the sake of making a deal happen). RM: Hi is this 'Arry? HR: Wotcha, this is 'Arry. RM: 'Arry me old mucka, I've got a fackin belting deal for ya. HR: I'm all steers and queers my son. RM: Right, just yesterday, i was daaawn the transfer market speaking to those german cunts at bayern munich offering our lad RVDV at 18 million of the queens finest paaands. When I fought to myself. I daaant want to sell this lad to the fackin jerrys. Next fing i know i cancel the fackin deal. HR: So whatcha given me a ring for then? RM: Well 'Arry, when I got back to spain the bosses said they want fackin shot of the lad at any cost. And thats when I thought about you 'Arry. HR: Hold on a fackin minute, are you calling me a wheeler fackin dealer? Ive made my name as a top fackin manger..... RM: Calm daaan Arry, im calling to offer you the lad at a reasonable sum of fackin money. HR: Well i've already got 30 attacking midfielders in my fackin squad so its gonna have to be a right fackin good deal. RM: 8m of the queens finest Arry and the dutch lad is yours. HR: Its a fackin wheelin fackin dealin deal my son. RM: Nice one. Woops its past fackin 6pm. HR: Daaant worry the prem league owe me a few favours after a few kick backs from player transfers. RM: Sorted, phone ya in January for some more wheelin my son. I would say that is about 97% accurate.
  20. Boyd's not exactly Pele but to call him worse than Shola is frankly ludicrous.
  21. Coming down from Aberdeen for this one. Can't wait! 2-0 us.
  22. Pardon me for committing three terrible forum crimes (tread hijack, thread revival, and and change of topic), but how does the atmosphere in the corner compare to the Gallowgate? I've been down from Aberdeen for four games over the past two years and the only place I haven't sat yet is the Gallowgate end. I thought L7 was class when I sat there, but I'm coming down for the Blackpool game with my Dad and L7's probably a bit too far from the pitch for his shoddy eyesight to cope with. We like to have a sing and a bit of banter, so does anyone think the Gallowgate would be a decent alternative? Last time we came down, we sat in the East Stand which was pretty quiet.
  23. Well, he did spend quite a lot of time in Glasgow.
