  1. I dont have access to a TV but from what you lads are saying, what is evident is that we dont seem to have the fight and aggression that we would expect from a Joe Kinnear team
  2. Nice poorly veiled dig at Keegan Completely unfounded of course but still... made me laugh
  3. Nice poorly veiled dig at Keegan
  4. No. Personally I dont think he deliberately set out to announce it today to take the attention away from the SBR thing, but it is a very unfortunate co-incidence (I hope). You have to admit you can see why the people fervently against him could call it into question. Not quite sure why Ashley only seems to like announcing things on a Sunday mind.
  5. I dont know if this is in some way snobbish but whilst I still expect us to lose this game, that team hardly looks like a team worthy of being English Premier League Champions.
  6. You cant ? Despite all the previous questioning of his intentions for NUFC ? I am not sure why he couldnt have said to himself "Look. Sunday is marked down as SBR day so lets release this statement the day after so that the focus is completely on SBR and of course the match itself" Personally I cant make my mind up whether the statement has been released deliberately on the same day but it could have been so easy for him to have avoided yet more speculation about his motives. The guy is either the king of wind-ups or simply thick.
  7. I hope to god thats not the case because thats as bizarre a tactic as I could ever imagine.
  8. Thats just what we could see. I think its fair to say that everyone was aware that things probably werent all sweetness and light behind the scenes. Post Chelsea last season is pefect evidence of that. Anyway, thats deflecting from today news which I agree is as good as we could hope to hear and I am glad to have finally heard from him. Like I said earlier. Roll on January. Hope he back things up with some sound investment.
  9. You forgot to add " and Ashley looking to fuck off and handing his notice in at the first sign of things going wrong" as well that happened after the things i mentioned. the ball has to start rolling somewhere and that ball started rolling and was promptly taken home by "king" kev. You think Keegan walked out whilst the club was being run well? The ball started rollling well before September the 1st
  10. You forgot to add "Ashley looking to f*** off and handing his notice in at the first sign of things going wrong" as well That is not bottling that is called classed as "LISTENING TO THE FANS"
  11. You forgot to add " and Ashley looking to fuck off and handing his notice in at the first sign of things going wrong" as well
  12. Aye. Quinn definitely been influenced by the players. I think I saw Sbragia getting interviewed by BBC after the Portsmouth game and some players went past in the background shouting "give him the job".
  13. Agreed. A little more stability and another of the uncertainties removed although I am intrigued as to what May will bring with regards to Joe Kinnear. For now though lets just see what January brings.
  14. That was exactly what sprung to my mind when I read Pedro's post
  15. Deja Vu statement for a NUFC fan if ever I heard it
  16. Well only a few more days and hopefully the club will be busting a gut to try and replace them
  17. Stop creating mellow-drama its damage limitation. There has been some ludicrous comebacks in football. We should never stop trying to score goals. You can never know what might happen.
  18. I'm even more speechless that Kinnear would have the balls to bring on the man who was sent-off. Some balls on that man.
  19. Never in a million years a penalty. Bassong may have tugged Heskey's shirt at first around 20 yards from goal, they continued tussling right into the box with Heskey grabbing Bassong's shirt as much as Bassong is grabbing his, then decides to fall over inside the box. Didnt Gerrard do the same thing against Everton last season at Goodison? Was stumbling for ages until he got to the box then dropped like a stone.
  20. Becoming the easiest fixture to bet on this. Ryan Taylor will always score and we lose 1-0 at the JJB
