I am not assuming that Keegan had a broad knowledge outside the established names. Thats why I think he said he was happy for the set up to help him along. I just think the story about him handing a list over including the like of Henry, Lampard and Beckham, was put out to make him look like a deluded fool. Sadly some people seem to buy it. The club were happy to bid for Modric and Woodgate and I would certianly class these as Keegan type targets so the club appear to have been happy to go for these kind of higher profile players

At the weekend, Kinnear said that he was due to sit down with Michael tomorrow yet in a TV interview yesterday, I swear I heard Owen making reference to the fact that it was the papers who were claiming that discussions were about to start. Its suggested to me that the club hadnt actually agreed a meeting date with him. Seemed a bit conflicting.

A big worry could be how Kinnear reacts to the pressure of the business end of a relegation battle. Given his displays in front of the tv cameras so far and the things he has come out with, I fear that he may say too many things that send too many negative vibes around the dressing room. Similar to KK's outburst in 96 which I think ultimately sent the wrong signals through the dressing room, I fear JK may do something similar in the heat of the battle.

First TV coverage I have seen of the match and given the timing and distance of the match, thought it was a very impressive amount of fans there supporting the lads.
