  1. What a surprise. Custis managed to write a report without 1 single concrete fact or quote. Wanker
  2. Maybe not but it does say a lot about his persuasiveness and his ability to analyse things which should bode well for us, hopefully. and if Owen is into this change, then it also speaks volumes about him as a footballer who is genuinely trying to do well in this Newcastle team. And save his career... I will never ever trust Owen, he's as selfish as they come and will do anything that helps his own cause. Better than nothing though and most players are like that anyway. That applies to probably 99% of footballers so we cant hold that against the lad. Its part of a modern day footballers make up - especially with ruthless agents pulling all the strings. Reverse the role and imagine for discussions sake that the club involved was Liverpool and you were the Owen type player (but still have NUFC in your blood). Would you have anything other than your own interests at heart. I bet you wouldnt think twice about Liverpool as a club or their fans
  3. We cant sell him... if for no better reason that it will be 2 nailed on hat-tricks against us when he finally comes up against us. We all know what his record against us is like.
  4. Anything other than just staying with the starting line up of the last 2 games would be madness and messing around for the sake of it. Continuity is the key. Even if it leads to defeat at Spurs, we have to just persist for as long as injuries will allow. Best way to get any kind of consistency.

    Ditto. Thirded Forthed
  6. Wonder if Berbatov is salivating at the thought of being on the same pitch as a Kevin Keegan Newcastle side. Must be like a dream come true for him
  7. How many fans will forget to put their clocks forward and will miss the start of the game ??
  8. Blackburn also have the Man U/Liverpool/rest of the North West fans base to cope with. Not their fault most glory hunters decide to trip down the M6

6 years ago.... for fucks sake. Really must have been a slow news day. I wonder who at the NOTW he pissed off as they must have been sitting on this just waiting for their chance to publish

Lets assume that Bobby did say that. Silkman should ask himself why. I dont know Bobby but I think I can hazardous a guess that he doesnt treat good, honest agents in such a way. My guess would be that SBR knows that this Slikman is an utter cock, a liar,a cheat etc etc and therefore is treating him accordingly. You can be pretty certain Bobby will have come across him before. When Sikman played for Bobby at Fulham Yeah. I was thinking more of him as an agent as well. I have updated my post as wiki does not show Silkman playing for Fulham
  11. With all this talk of all the goals that have been scored at WHL this year, what odds are the bookies giving for 0-0 ?

  14. Sell... this is Michael Owen we are talking about here and he has only had a couple of months with Keegan Madness.
  15. This hits the nail on the head. We all know Spurs are going to come at us so keeping a clean sheet is going to be hard if we sit back, try playing a tight game and letting them come at us, on the other hand as a defensive unit Spurs have let in more goals at home than Derby have at Pride Park this season, this is a game we need to be taking to them rather than shutting up shop and hoping for the best. Totally agree A game featuring Keegan's 96 Newcastle side, against the current Spurs team would have had the Sky men drooling uncontrollably. Maybe in a season or two, this fixture has the potential to be one of the best of the season
  16. It just shows that maybe Allardyce's fascination with stats, science, diet etc in the end counts for bollox all and really what counts is a football brain to spot something like this on the training ground. This isnt something that Sams computer read outs could have thought of. For me, it just confirms that Kevin still has an excellent eye and a brain for spotting a players skill and where best to use it on the pitch
  17. arent people being blinded a bit by the fact that he just seems like a canny lad. He is ok as a player but there are hardly people banging the door down at Fulham to sign him.
  18. I think with Barton, there is an underlying feeling that if he finds form, gets his head straight, and avoids jail, he could be a really excellent player for us. At the slightest sign of him improving I think people are going to think that at last, we are going to get the player we all hoped for when he signed
  19. Bullard is nowhere near good looking enough for our club
  20. I couldn't care a jot if we finish bottom of the NE3 this season. All that matters is that we stay in the Premiership. Local rivalry can wait until next season
  21. I cant explain it but I love hearing Keegan say things like this. Makes me feel like things are really happening and developing
  22. no no no no no no no no.... come back to haunt you

Anfield is as intimidating as tea with my old granny for fucks sake. Full of happy-clappy wankers waving 'you'll never walk alone' scarves - similar to our pogoing shoe-waving tossers but in much greater numbers. Indeed. The days of intimidating top flight football grounds are well and truly over, now we're swamped with happyclappy fucking clueless daytripping Sky botherers. I was looking at the shirts-off Sunderland fans yesterday thinking what a bunch of twats they looked, then heard a couple of two times a season Tarquins behind me having a pop at O'Neill and moaning they weren't going to bother again, and thought which type of fan I'd rather have around me. Steven Garrard took a corner at the Stretford End today and some woman was standing there taking a photograph of him. No doubt a die hard, go in all weather, red fams she is Then when it panned across the Liverpool fans, some geezer had a proper professional Digital SLR camera around his neck !

    Today's other games

That is an odd coincidence that Adebayor has gone right off the boil since he had his hair cut I cant help thinking he looks like that Makosi bird off Big Brother a couple of years ago these days.
