  1. Gabby is a simple lad, he's like Forrest Gump with a Brummie accent. He probably just brushed himself down, got up and wandered off, muttering about London types. Awful fucking tackle, mind Havent seen what he did ater he was tackled. If he didnt react then credit to him.
  2. he is fucked if there are free copies of the Daily Mail in the Jury's waiting room
  3. This. I can't see what we will gain simply by sacking him now. Its a pity we have Chelsea next because 3 points (whether won by skill or luck), would probably calm things down just a little. A point even, if we manage to get one by some almighty miracle, would help loads If we get anything from Chelsea then I hope it's by attacking them from the first whistle. If he goes for a bore draw and it works then he'll never change. I would hope that in the eyes of the fans, that would represent some proof that he has listened. I could accept defeat tomorrow if it meant that we had battered (tried to) from the off

  5. notice he went to a club without an R in their name.
  6. whats that in the top right hand corner ? summit that squirted out of joeys arse ;D
  7. whats that in the top right hand corner ?
  8. I think he said that when reality smacked that as club we were no longer capable of challenging for the title. Plus, its the one tr0phy that the club has any real connection and history with
  9. Somewhere, Gabby Logan is telling friends... " I told you so, I told you so, he IS exactly the same as his brother"
  10. coincidentally, wasnt he the guy Barton assaulted in the Derby (v Sunderland) game ?
  11. I dont remember Dyer or Bowyer criticising the fans 2/3 weeks before having their on-field scrap. I must check the word "Hypocrite" in my Oxford English to check to see if Joey's picture is there. Fucking stunning effort on his part.
  12. in some respects i agree with wht someone said earlier. lets just get him in to be manager and be done with it. Until that day, his name is always going to get bandied about after a couple of defeats - whoever is the manager
  13. It is like them press lads say in The Mag that there is a thirst out there for Newcastle stories & the strange thing is we keep serving them up. Agree entirely. It would have been all over the red tops had he been a toon player.
  14. Can't argue with this. Was going to say the same
  15. yip he's certainly repaid us for that gesture i would like to think that some how, some way, we could sue him to get that back. It takes the piss out of the club and the system, it really does. I am so ashamed that he is linked ot our club.
  16. Not me. I made similar posts under those two managers and even as far back as Sir Bobby when this place was called nufc.nu. Nice of Duff to come out and back the manager, but actions speak louder than words. I'm not holding my breath... the only way to put things right. sick of hearing all this bollocks for the tv and press about what they are going to do to put things right
  17. The last 2 successful managers (relatively) have been the type of person that when you hear them interviewed on the TV, you can imagine yourself as a player thinking " I really want to play for this guy, his enthusiasm is infectious " (Keegan/Robson) I dont think Shearer comes across as that type of personality therefore I cant see him being a success. Question is... who else out there has KK/Robson's passion and heart on your sleeve enthusiasm for the game in general and, whisper it quietly, Newcastle United
  18. "A spokesman for Newcastle United said the club was not making any comment. " Dignified silence?! Wouldn't have happened with Freddy at the helm. I think they are as speechless and we are
  19. Yeah, just like Keegan did. Well, it might work in the way Keegan did but why take what is such a huge risk? Not many people go on to do well in their first job at a big club (which we are, without wishing to get into that debate). Yeah, I realise that, think it would be a huge gamble myself. Just wanted to point out Parky's hyperbole as much as anything. These appointments can work, but I'd say they're a bad idea generally. Keegan appointment was one in a million really. certainly for us. cant imagine the footballing gods would smile on us again so soon
  20. Yup. We need to come on to and leave the field to the "Dum Dum Dum Dum DumaDum" eastenders stylee
