All we are asking for is a team that goes out onto the pitch every game looking to win 3 points and for players to be allowed to play in their natural positions. Are we asking for too much ?

Because of team/player position selections I think he should go. Doesnt appear to be learning at all by every game. I have only recently converted to this line of thought but for me, this is the root cause of everything

I genuinely believe that our style of play isnt the major pisser at the moment. He would have many more fans on his side if he just played a consistent team full of players in their natural positions. If he did that the style of play would improve anyway because you would have players feeling more relaxed and playing their own natural game. I think we have got a squad of good players who are capable of good things. Why he does what he does, only Sam himself knows, but if he started with that philosophy, most fans would be on his side and the rest would fall into place. Smith back in defensive role again. For fucks sake. Whats the justification for that after 2 or 3 of his most positive performances of the season ?

I was more than happy to not be playing flamboyant football under Sam. The one and only thing I was looking forward to, under him, was being much a more difficult team to beat. We look no closer to being that kind of team than at any time in our recent history. Ramos seems to have made Spurs a little bit stronger within weeks so it can be done (and spurs have a team full of lightweights compared to our relative battlers of Barton, Butt and Smith etc). I just cant see what he seems to be focusing on as a pattern for the team.
