  1. Cant really say that, we werent the best tonight but we will be better with that performance in the humidity and game conditions. We have really only had one warm up match so this was a good hit out despite the result. We can go from this address the issues and move on. Everyone in group A is now on 1 point so it is all there for the taking. Yeh u got a point, i'm just really disapointed with that performance, we should and could have done better With the other teams in the group having a draw aswell we havent been disadvantaged ur right, would be good to see a more positive performance next time.
  2. Aussies were pathetic, strolled around the pitch doing jack all They wont qualify for the later stages let a lone win the cup with performances like that Thank god for Timmy Cahill
  3. And would someone be able to tell me how to get Newcastle games in Australia?, other than Fox Sports cause we get 1 like every month. Can we get Setana or something here? Or an internet stream? The 3am radio kinda gets to you after a while............
  4. Where from? Or you could get it for free like me how you get yours free? Yeh, please tell........
  5. Hope it's bullsh*t Would prefer if we signed someone young with lots of talent thats likely to stay for a while and help us win something...... And yeh we don't need any more strikers with Owen And Oba mabye leaving, a "world class" striker signing would only make em wanna leave more.... Get a midfielder imo. 8)
  6. Well Souness managed to stun the football world by signing Boumsong for £8 million...
  7. Up the Aussies Where from?
  8. Great News He deserves a new contract. Sure he wont ever be world class, but he's a good solid player, not to injury prone, and hopefully Sam can get the best outta him.
  9. Thank God So glad he aint coming back. It's a bonus WH are wasting some money on him, talk about inflated market

    Queudrue?

, we can surely do better than him, and with Baba as a back-up, we dont need him.
  11. Not a bad idea, surely our injury crisis wont be repeated this year, but you always need a back-up... If we sent Krul out for a 1 year deal (the new minimium) where would we send him?
  12. Sorry, when i say "Krul must stay", i mean on contract at the club, which he is more likely to do if he goes out on loan and gains more experience, rather than get frustrated from a lack of football and then seek another club
  13. Yeh, wouldn't want them to get putoff with the club because they get a lack of football, we need our young talent to stay, namely Krul imo
  14. Don't mind what he says, alsong as we get the right backroom staff and coaches
  15. He'll be a great back up if motivated and coached well, can't see him being a regular starter, imo
  16. ------------------Given-------------------- Geremi--Taylor--Rozehnal--Babayaro Milner------Barton-----Emre-----N'Zogbia -------------Martins--Owen------------- Subs: Viduka, Solano, Harper, Butt, Dyer
  17. Toon clinch Geremi signing Jul 2 2007 by Lee Ryder, Evening Chronicle Newcastle United have clinched the signing of Cameroon star Geremi from Chelsea. The player has passed a medical and will join felllow new boys Mark Viduka, Joey Barton and David Rozehnal at St James' Park next season. Good signing, hopefully turns out better than other players we have signed from Chelsea....

    Emre's Staying

If he has the desire to peform, and a good manager behind him, i think he will.
  20. A new era beckons  Lets hope Ashely wants success as much as we do O0 O0
  21. YES YES YES, fantastic news..... a new era beckons, very exicted for next season.
  22. If Owen wants to leave, let him leave, we can't afford to have players here who don't want to be here apart from financial reasons. If he wants to stay good on him, i think he owes us that much anyway. If he leaves bring in a young striker with a desire to succeed and who would work well with Martins.
  23. He surely will stay for a year, he owes the club that much for all the effort they put into his rehabilitation, and to be honest i'm not sure any top 4 club would be overly interested in a player who has been injured for nearly 2 seasons and hasn't had much time back on the park, but by 2008 he could well be gone........
  24. Thank you for the Intertoto last year, and saving our bacon from relegation. Don't think you really wanted the job full-time, but you got it and tried to the best of your ability. Unfortunately you didn't succeed, in a rotten season, but atleast you knew when to walk away. Hope you stay on in the academy as your work there is fantastic.
