Well ugly players just aren't very good. There is a lot between ugly and good looking, but yeh fair enough lol Anyone phoning BS and asking him to include it in his criteria?
-
IMO Zog will only go to a top club rated higher than us, Fulham doesn't seem a logical choice...
-
A 15 year old Dutch lad came on at the end, and nearly scored. He's got to be the youngest player ever to play for us, surely. Someone clarify? lol Thx for kid info.

It probably is Smith, but im not sure he is the best option, for the many reasons mentioned...
-
Their more likely to be scared of the fans than try harder imo... No.
-
Don't mind he's going, but we must get someone good in along with defenders..... soon..... or we're nowhere
-
Did anyone watch the game? what were the kids like?
-
Don't think he is quite as bad as some think but his injuries really ruined it, and he never seemed to be filled with passion for the club... Cya mate
-
Buying NUFC for a hooby / fun might fit for some people...... But remember he doesn't want a public profile or media attention, and in England buying a football club would probably be the worst possible way of acheiving that , so there must be another reason, which i have no clue to what it is...

Often Sunday papers contain stuff that is way off the line... Anyone remember the 300mil in 5 years story , not being negative btw, just it wasnt true

I seriously seriously doubt whether Keegan would ever come back, in any capacity... I hope its just a made up article to try to get some attention.
-
If he wants to leave there is no point keeping him... We seriously need 2+ defenders before this window closes... If nothing has happened (ie us being more than gossip style linked with someone)on the trandfer front by this time next week...

Great News Its always good to hear players exceed healing expectations...

He took them at Leeds IIRC. Dunno what his record was, but he scored one in the "Premiership Years" I watched the other day. That makes him a good canditate Viduka is terrible at penalties under severe pressure. Missed a crucial one for Australia in the penalty shoot out against Uruguay and one in a lead up game to the world cup and was subsequently dropped from taking penalties for Australia. Not so sure how he goes in the premiership though. Yeh, dont pick Dukes, he hasnt got a good record with em...

"Partially Fractured Fifth Metatarsal" 8)

OMFG, this is unbelievable, i was really looking forward to seeing him play, thought he would be a key player and possibly captain... but no, he got injured in his 2nd game for NUFC

I think we are looking past the obvious option here.... Its Bramble
-
It is just a thigh strain, players get niggles all the time, im pleased he and BS have decided not to play him so their not risking anything. One aspect is now NO sain club will try to buy him this window, never know, the reason BS made it public might be to safeguard against any bids. He's keen, enthusiastic and feels like he has something to prove. Take a note from the players book at the moment... be positive!

If this is all true great, we need Martins next season

Please Please Please put the matches on broadband Mr Ashley, that would be sooo good. 3am on a Sunday morning would be so much better! blueyes.gif

Would it be downloadable somewhere? for us aussies and overseas people :'(

True, but it does also work based on this - if a club has say 5 real targets and it gets 1 transfer Newspaper A predicts 10 targets Newspaper B predicts 15 targets The better newspaper (A) has the better percentage, so the system works on rank between the papers and ratio of correct "targets"

It might be obvious, but in all the Top 4 clubs, to varying extents, they have had a brilliant manager to help bring and organise success. Man U and Arsenal wouldnt be where they are now without Fergie and Wenger. Over the years its clear to anyone we have a had a fairly sour run of managers since KK, and until we get and keep a good one, we arent going to challenge. In my opinion Allardyce is the manager we need right now; he can build solid foundations, get the players in our existing squad to realise some of their potential, and bring in new players which so far havent been incredible signings, but all have been solid and productive. Once we have a solid squad, that is consistant week in week out, plays well at home, then we can bring in a few more world class signings to get that extra edge.

Yup, in a 3 man midfield he'd have alot more freedom. I'd certainly take a chance on him. Worth a go in theory , doubt it would actually happen
