Disappointing to hold out for that long and not get the 3 points. Can only assume Colo was brought off due to the hamstring, stuck in the bottom half, not a great start to the season... Tiote crazy mistake, but imo was only a yellow, was more a whip kick that a shin-breaker. Ref was appalling in general all game, and we copped the brunt of it. Colo absolutely superb at the back. Our corners are abysmal - apart from the trick that nearly came off - tricks are all well and good but the bread and butter set pieces need to improve - doesn't have to be our main source of goals, but its criminal to waste so many. Got to get into gear soon or the season will slip away.

Got away with a bit there, clearly the higher quality side but if they don't get the basics right consistently it will bite at some point during the season.

Based on the information available at the time I think that most people had a completely justifiable reaction to his appointment. It's just a damn good thing that he's been able to succeed in the environment around him and make that information useless.

Think Tottenham will draw 1-1, Arsenal will win 3-0, up to us to get the three points.

It's strange seeing such a large percentage of the forum so contented after a defeat, but it's a great testament to our season and the direction people feel the club is moving in. City are by far the most talented group in the league, Aguero Kompany and Toure were a class above Man U and a class above us today. For me Cabaye, HBA, Cisse, tiote and Colo looked like they could compete, while the others showed heart they knew they had to scrap more, but there's no shame against such a pool of cash and ability. Think the tactics were close to right, apart from the subs, we needed the first goal and nearly got it. Hope they got the ovation they deserved, and are ready to end the season on a high at Goodison.

Got an awful image of Tevez and Aguero teaming up to score 3 in the first 20, but surely not. Definetly need Tiote back and firing for this. Hard to predict but even the prospect is damn exciting.

Back to reality, was fun while it lasted. If spurs fuck up tomorrow then we're still in with a shot but I doubt it, really needed the 3 points against Wigan. If we pick up any points for any of the remaining games we will have done well, take the 3 fixtures solely on their merits and one or two draws would be considered decent. 5th would be excellent.
