Aye haha! Anyone ever stood next to where the away fans come in at SJP when we play the Mackems? A big mob with a glint in their eye seems to gather behind the barriers and rows of coppers awaiting the enemy, then those god awful double deckers pull up, thousands of Mackems come pouring out all pissed up and rowdy then the Geordies spark up, with songs back and forth and the odd couple of nutcases (on both sides) try to smash through the coppers and barriers for a fight. The police horses go mental whilst the coppers are shitting themselves while trying to maintain their fragile grip on law and order. A couple of derbys back one Mackem thought it would be a good idea to punch a Police horse only for the horse to hardly flinch and the Mackem nearly break his hand! Are you on about the turnstile area, on that corner? If so i've seen plenty of banter between the away fans, mainly Boro like. Can't wait for this match now like. Aye. Well i will be sitting under the away fans on Sunday, due to them taking up a full allocation. I go in turnstile 9 and 10 and there's always plenty banter. During the game aswell, they chuck everything down, and it just winds everyone up around that area, and makes a better atmosphere

How dare you
-
2-0 Martins, Barton Hope there's a cracking atmosphere, as i'll have the cunts above me all game

One of my first ever games was in the rain, on my birthday aswell. Loved, and been to every Derby at home since then, and we haven't lost since the day i first tasted a Sunderland game My favourite was probably the 2-0 when Bellamy scored in the first couple of minutes, celebrated right infront of me, magic. And Shearer scored a free-kick aswell in the first half. One of the best memories of that game was at half-time, when i went downstairs and on the TV's it was showing pictures of the Sunderland fans slumped in there seats for the whole 15 minutes, probably one of the best sights ever!

Well we can just get Viduka to stick to Distin like shit, Oba's pace against Campbell, then Owen being the free man, sorted

I remember when I moved to just off the Saltwell Road in my 4th year at uni, I had no idea there was such a large Jewish community around there, it was gobsmacking - not in an unpleasant way, just surprising - to see the orthodox jews everywhere. EDIT memory plays tricks, it wasn't off Saltwell Road, but it was in Bensham. It is strange like, not the place you expect to see them if you didn't know. Not the best looking bunch if i'm been honest. They only live there because the houses are huge, and they can fit all of their 50 kids in.

What is the chances of there being a points deduction if all this is true ?

nahh, it's just every Muslim that lives in the area stands at their door when you go past on the coaches and call you worse than shite
-
Let me reiterate - it wasn't a muslim section. The offer was "you can sit anywhere in the ground where there is availability. However, for your information, in this area of the ground, there is no alcohol served, and halal snacks are available". Who knows, maybe halal snacks will be available all over the ground soon, but for the time being, they were free to sit wherever they wanted. Also, the ground holds 42,640, the average crowd is over 40,000 this season, clearly whilst the club want to get people involved, they're not going to be able to do offers like that all the time. Basically saying, this is the best part of the ground for muslims to sit
