    Alan Pardew

I've seen Perch play at CB and he's not that bad there, obviously I'd prefer almost anyone else but sadly with our squad we can't be too picky. Still intrigued as to why Kadar has completely dropped off the radar though.

Jak Alnwick's gone on a month's loan to Gateshead.
  3. Can't believe this thread is still open.

To be fair on Orient, one of my work mates is a season ticket holder and said Richardson, although scoring one goal and having a few nice touches, certainly didn't rip up any trees and didn't particularly impress. Plus Orient only loaned him in the first place due to a midfielder crisis of sorts, so when the injured players returned they rightly went back into the side. Why would you keep a young player in the side when players who are more familiar with the league and the system they play are on the sidelines ready to come back in? I'm sure Richardson will go on loan again, but I don't really think any blame should be pointed at the club.
  5. I read it just right as you confirmed, you admit you think people are entitled to go pissing off innocent fans because they and you are selfish pricks at a football match, there is no making a stand or superior fans as you call them its plain and simply twatery to act like that under the laughable excuse of being heard. If you think its my being patroniosing because you find simple things like respect and decency beyond you then fine i will continue to be a patronising t*** to arseholes thanks very much. In the meantime: Did it ever in your mind occur to you that you were showing a lack of respect first by deliberately standing? Hear bloody hear.

    St James' Park

As much as I agree, for a business perspective why bother asking when it's pretty obvious the fan response is going to be 'don't change it!'
  7. I get a horrible Dietmar Hamann feeling about Cabaye. I really really hope I'm wrong about that.

    St James' Park

Pardew just misheard. All the money would be invested in new signage.

    Bryan Ruiz

Damn you Leon Best for scoring two against Fulham! It's all your fault!
  10. Ridgewell is absolute wank.

    Bryan Ruiz

This attempted panic buy is a player not called Carlton Cole. For that reason I'm behind it 100%.
  12. Can you please not bump this bloody thread on transfer deadline day?! Edit: Unless you're Andy in Leeds!

    U23s & Academy

1-1 final score, as people have already said a very creditable result against a strong Wolves side.
  14. Apologies if this has already been posted, but a decent article about how he fell out of favour here - http://blogs.thescore.com/footyblog/2011/04/05/bandini-davide-santons-fall-from-stardom/ Worth a read IMO. Must also say I'm bloody delighted we've got him.

  16. 11 games, 0 goals. Exactly what we need, right? Know where your coming from (even if joking a bit), but the player who Rossi is now, is not the one we had. The same will probably be for Macheda. Not that I think Macheda will be half as good as Rossi. To be fair on Rossi he was never really given a fair crack of the whip by Roeder, majority of his games were off the bench so it's difficult to tell quite how good he could have been for us. Went to Parma and did very well for them in the same season. But yeah, would be very very surprised if Macheda turned out anywhere near as good as Rossi.
  17. Yeah, last striker we signed on loan from Man Utd was rubbish - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giuseppe_Rossi
  18. Didn't think he was too bad yesterday, especially considering he was turboshit for 120 minutes midweek.

    Erik Pieters

One player I've always liked. That Wayne Bridge...
  20. Gutted for him today, fair play to Pards for turning to him instead of bloody Smith.

    Leon Best

Been a harsh critic of his but took his second goal very well and was involved in some decent stuff. Fair play to the lad.
  22. Don't have Sky so relying on you guys for text updates. (Fully expect us to somehow now draw Barcelona)
  23. Looked good pre-season and looks like he's continued that. Just always seems to want the ball which is a big plus, hope he gets more chances as the season goes on.
