  1. god, playing with two holding midfielders is depressing. Well, Faye is a centre back (at bolton) but whatever.

I'm saying he isn't a class act so to alter what I said, only certain elements of your post were funny. Better? But that only constitutes as about 20% of the original post deeming your response ridiculously inaccurate. However, I digress Some of the goals he has scored and contributions he has made since he has been here have been incredible, you can't deny that surely. Not as much this season but there have been glimpses and I'm sure, given the right coaching, he can become a great player for us. You're arguing that because he scored a couple of "incredible" goals (assume you mean the Spurs goal and the Bolton goal?) he'll become a great player for us? I seem to remember Milner scoring a few "incredible" goals, but he'll never be "great". Martins will always be an average striker, whoever he plays for. Yes, he'll score some quality goals in his career, but that doesn't mean he's a player who can be relied upon to take us to the level we all want to be at. He had a pretty decent amount of goals by the end of his first season. Hell, that was a stop start one for him but once he started firing them in he didn't stop, well obviously he did, but you see what I mean. My point is that if he could do it then whats to say he can't do it now. I don't 'just mean the spurs and bolton goal' either. There have been many goals from the sublime to the ridiculous that have shown his class. He is worringly low on confidence however as Dave said. I'm struggling to think of any sublime or ridiculous goals he's scored other than the two I mentioned. He's scored 17 league goals for us in 54 games. Good enough? Yes. Anyway, the rest of the team are shite aswell, it just seems like a lack of form and zero confidence to me.

So you are saying he IS consistent and has been shining in recent weeks despite the teams terrible form?

I think it's fairly obvious I was joking about the last part.
  7. I'm not sure about Sam. Or Spam, ham and Jaap Stam for that matter.

It's glaringly obvious that he is a class act. It just seems he isn't very consistent at all. When Newcastle are playing well he plays well, but not the other way round... Plus, anyone who can hit the ball that ridiculously hard deserves to be in any team
  9. I'm pretty sure if Martins played for Chelsea he would be setting the place alight. Exciting player him, we aren't using him properly at all.
  10. I think a severe investigation into the quality of ball boy we are bringing in needs to be undertaken. We are paying millions for foreign ball boys who simply aren't up to standard. Like Fernando Anderson Sanchez from Athletico. He is being paid a reported £45,000 a week and he isn't up to stratch. Promising signs from the academy boy in the north stand however, a bit of pace and delivery on him...
  11. OP said 3 points won't decide it. I beg to differ. Look at the relegation battles from the last few seasons. Hopefully it won't come to that though...
  12. I don't care. As long as they have interesting facial features.
  13. Surely Makelele has given his money worth to Chelsea? Not really a good way of measuring it.
  14. Isn't the same going to happen again. N'zogbia gets dropped without huge reason, Duff plays shite and N'zogbia's confidence is ruined...
  15. God, leave the guy alone. He is one of the best around. Give it a break. Plus, I watched henrys free-kick against him from last season, he nearly flew out the pitch. I guess what I'm saying is there are some things which can't be helped.

    Now what Toon?

    Harry makes me sexually fanatical.
  17. I feel sorry for Rozenhal, he looked brilliant pre-season and the start of this one but can't complain about his replacements.
  18. I think he's absolutely average tbh. He struggles to control the ball, can't pass it accurately more than 10 yards & can't head it for s***. He can't tackle, fails to bring others into the game and can't hold it up when it's pinged up to him. He is, however, fast as f*** when latching onto a through ball and can shoot very powerfully every now and again. I don't like you. Which bits do you disagree with? Well, the point of martins is really his pace and power surely. I personally love the guy and think he will be firing all cylinders soon enough, providing he gets the games. I think focussing on his flaws like that is slightly irrelevant. Like Rooney isn't good because he can't header or Viduka is inferior because he is australian.

  20. Our Enrique guy is dashing.
  21. Shut up. Stop moaning and support your f****** club. Supporting your club doesnt just meaning handing over your money to them regardless. It also means being prepared to do something drastic to try and get the club that we deserve. If you want to have a go at moaners, have a go at the 52,000 inside the ground who have been moaning at the team instead of supporting them and getting behind them. Have you been cheering them on for every 90 minutes this season regardless of their performances ? Well don't buy it, i'm not bothered, just stop the bloody moaning.
  22. Shut up. Stop moaning and support your fucking club.
