  3. Not at all. I completely agree that it's something he needs to work on but he is one hell of a player otherwise.
  4. No way in hell is Oba NOT the quickest player. He is freaking olympic standard reportedly... EDIT: Actually, I remember when he was at Inter he was known as being the fastest top level footballer in the world!

    Aldo Duscher.

Wasn't Smith more of a Ashley purchase seeing as he has his top on every game?
  6. If anyone is listening to five live. Why the fuck is the guy calling Rozenhal 'Row-zen-ol', it's more annoying than it should be... nerves?
  7. It's the only possible lineup. Christ, ok, well, at least he isn't trying any funny... Fine, I'm just happy, that's all.
  8. To be honest, people say 'don't live in the past!' But why the hell not? It's the best football we have seen in recent times. Plus, it would train up Shearer if he helped in some way. Who care's if it's in the bloody past.
  9. I like Enrique. He looks a class act if we are wanting to get some attacking football going. Fast, strong and ALWAYS trying to get in the game from what I seen.
  10. My god, the world doesn't revolve around this club. Give it a break guys stop feeling forry for yourselves.

    Alan Smith

The annoying thing is that we are stuck with players like this with their massive wages and poor attitude. What the hell do we do with them? Surely no-one would want to buy them...
  12. Enrique was pretty good and I think he will be a good player. Quick, strong and knows what he is doing. Was always trying to get into the game aswell instead of hiding. To be honest, the selection wasn't too bad, but we were never going to win it. Let's forget it happened...
  13. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! this would be awesome.

I find it so frustrating how he slide tackles ALL the time. It never achieves anything and nearly always lands us in trouble... usless.
  15. All of N'zogbia's deliveries were pretty perfect if you ask me. For example the one where Taylor hit the post (not just with the ball) was pin point. No-one to attack it, that's the problem.
  16. 18 is the minimum age for myspace I think... so he would have to
  17. At least Enrique played reasonably well. Also, Rozenhal, I don't understand, one minute he does something good then he nearly gives away a goal. Taylor
  18. If we lose, he should have he decency to resign. Incidentally, have David Moyes and Mark Hughes been sacked, or resigned from their jobs yet, after their respective clubs home FA Cup results yesterday? Everton 0 - Oldham 1 (mid League 1) Blackburn 1 - Coventry 4 (lower Championship) That's not really a valid argument seeing as those two managers are doing well for the club or have done well at some point. Not just shite all the time.
  19. god, playing with two holding midfielders is depressing. Well, Faye is a centre back (at bolton) but whatever.

I'm saying he isn't a class act so to alter what I said, only certain elements of your post were funny. Better? But that only constitutes as about 20% of the original post deeming your response ridiculously inaccurate. However, I digress Some of the goals he has scored and contributions he has made since he has been here have been incredible, you can't deny that surely. Not as much this season but there have been glimpses and I'm sure, given the right coaching, he can become a great player for us. You're arguing that because he scored a couple of "incredible" goals (assume you mean the Spurs goal and the Bolton goal?) he'll become a great player for us? I seem to remember Milner scoring a few "incredible" goals, but he'll never be "great". Martins will always be an average striker, whoever he plays for. Yes, he'll score some quality goals in his career, but that doesn't mean he's a player who can be relied upon to take us to the level we all want to be at. He had a pretty decent amount of goals by the end of his first season. Hell, that was a stop start one for him but once he started firing them in he didn't stop, well obviously he did, but you see what I mean. My point is that if he could do it then whats to say he can't do it now. I don't 'just mean the spurs and bolton goal' either. There have been many goals from the sublime to the ridiculous that have shown his class. He is worringly low on confidence however as Dave said. I'm struggling to think of any sublime or ridiculous goals he's scored other than the two I mentioned. He's scored 17 league goals for us in 54 games. Good enough? Yes. Anyway, the rest of the team are shite aswell, it just seems like a lack of form and zero confidence to me.
