If this Roberts meeting and possible bid is true, it's only going to serve to prolong this sale and keep us out of the transfer window (assuming that Moat's can actually buy the club). What a f***ing fiasco.

There's no need to panic just because the club hasn't been sold today. I'm sure there's more to it than Ashley handing the keys to the stadium over to Moat. These things take time.

Kind of sounds like us when we signed him, with so many people showing up to see him unveiled. I even got caught up in it and put his name on the back of the away jersey I bought that year. He'll probably end up doing well for them, tbh. Not because he's good, but just because the football gods will want to spite us.

So long as Barton is fit, we'll play the same side as Saturday. If Barton is out, then I imagine that Guthrie will start for him or Geremi will start. I wouldn't expect changes.

I can't see how signing Campbell would be any different than when we signed Geremi, Smith, Duff, Butt, etc. All good players past their prime who underachieved.

I believe that concludes the sale. Moat sitting between these two along with the performance by the players makes me believe that the sale is through and the players knew it before they went out. Just speculation of course.
