Keegan needs time to stamp his mark on the squad and obviously that's not going to happen until next season. So stop whining and lets support our club! The traveling support were loud and most of the time we were as good as, if not better than the noise coming from the Holte End! There's only one Kevin Keegan came from the Villa supporters at the end, but we didn't care if they were taking the piss... we joined in (Obviously from a different stand point)! In Keegan we trust... come on lads!

Just got back from the game. I only saw one clear problem and that was we had no confidence in front of goal. We only got 2 shots on target - one goal and one Barton shot which was comfortably saved. We needed to test Carson whenever we could! All of Villas goals were sloppy and defensively we were very edgy when the ball entered the 18 yard box! Without a doubt Faye and Enrique should have played - I was baffled why they didn't get a game! Faye could have kept Carew at bay and I doubt he would of got even close to a hatrick!

So following the footsteps of the NFL with the Dolphins and Giants playing at Wembley last year. They are now doing that every year, but obviously it's just the 2 teams from one of the divisions, instead of what they are proposing (all 20 teams) - in a way that actually seems fairer! They are doing it as a way of promoting the game, but with Soccer, the game doesn't need to be promoted, but it would definitely draw in more revenue and excitement about the premiership worldwide. The premiership is already huge in North America and Asia, so I suppose it's a way of rewarding there support instead of them traveling to England as many already do. I'm a bit skeptical about added one extra game and also about the random draw. Just doesn't sound like many teams would favour it, contrary to that article.

The Lad in the Lane is on a Duel Carriageway by a nasty junction. It's straight down the road from Villa park. Although it's an extremely LONG road. So definitely not a short walk! I suppose you could call it bog white.

Awful so far, we need to get some possession - 41% not enough. More than that we need to get some flare and creativity into our team. Roz and Butt are awful and Duff doesn't seem confident in taking on anyone. We need to go for it and really take it to Arsenal instead of trying to absorbed there play. The lad in the lane ? or is that the one for west brom? Nah, Lad in the Lane is in Erdington - quite a walk from Villa Park There's loads of pubs in the area, but if you want to get away from the main chaos I'd go to The Gosta Green, which is just off Aston Uni campus. It's a screen pub so relatively cheap, although it's still a 15-20 min walk. Or there's the Hare of the Dog, which is even closer - it's on Birmingham City Uni campus - Just literally down the road from Villa Park. I'll be in the Gosta because my mate let me down trying to get me a ticket - he's a Villa Season Ticket holder. So relied on him instead of getting one myself.

I only live down the road to the four oaks estate where he 'used' to live - seen him once or twice walking around aimlessly. Sad to hear though... I'm sure he will make enough to pay off the debts with his pundit job and random things - providing he quits all the gambling!
