It's a shame all our operating profit fell straight into Simpson and Ashton's pockets.

Matt Le Tissier when he chipped a couple of your players and slotted it into the bottom corner was pretty special, however personally, it has to be Nick Wright's overhead kick against Bolton in the 98/99 play-off final. That was amazing.

A rather similar situation here: http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/mostpopular.var.1432007.mostviewed.rising_star_may_spurn_hornets.php However, do take into account that the Chris Cummings stuff is probably not true, the Wobby isn't fit to wipe my arse with, with it's constant vitriol aimed at the club

Ahem, I'd also like to point you to one Harry Forrester, stolen by Villa for a menial fee when he'll be worth much more in the future - nothing we could do about it.
-
He is a cheating little t***, Warnock's been teaching him that. Otherwise he's a great player. Saw him 5 or 6 times this season..looked awfull to me honestly. Ripped us to pieces, although really that wasn't difficult second half of the season.

Dave Hockaday. mackems.gif Also - I give this set-up until Christmas, when Lowe gets bored of his failed experiment ala Woodward and Clifford. Go back to hockey.

Replaced by the man who took Helmond Sport to 7th in the Dutch 2nd division.................. Rupert Lowe.

It's our super new ground as well apparently, according to some rumours. Why aren't there players flooding to Vicarage Road?
-
I heard that the members of the England squad who didn't get on the plane to T&T did so, so that they could have their medicals at Spurs, which are ongoing.

Bryan Robson was his manager, towards the end of the season he was playing much better under Blackwell.
-
TBH, I had to pay £120 more for next season's season ticket compared to this and last seasons'.

Why would they sell him? Best player I've ever seen in a Scunny shirt. That's exactly what I thought, but the strong rumour around here is that we're in for Keogh, Marc Bridge-Wilkinson and Marc Edworthy, I wouldn't be too displeased with either of the first two! Not too sure on Edworthy though.

Even your shower managed to get 28 points so Hull should do alright. Thing is though, we had Foster, Young, Bouazza and King for a bit. We had a damn better chance than the likes of Windass and Barmby ffs.
-
Hull are no better than what we were 2 years ago, in fact they're slightly worse I'd say. Bottom - Derby-esque in the way they'll capitulate, however they've got a decent keeper so it'll be slightly more respectable. Nevertheless, Hull 20th, Stoke 19th.

Ashton isn't a fat arrogant cunt, is he?

No offence, but both times we played you, you looked like an absolutely shite outfit, devoid of any creativity without Lawrence in the second game as well. Thanks for Eustace btw, barring the red cards he's excellent. Also, you'll probably do similar to what we did season before last in terms of Premiership finish bottom/19th if Hull go down, but do it fairly respectably with a few wins and a half-decent points tally as opposed to sheer capitulation ala Derby. We had King, Young, Foster and Bouazza playing well (King only for the first few games and Young for half a season) and we still were nowhere near survival in any respects, you don't have any players of that class really, Fuller is ok, Lawrence is decent and Whelan too but really they're no more than top level Championship players. The likes of Shawcross do well in the CCC but will be completely shown up in the Premiership imho and you'll do very well to sustain any hope of survival throughout the season. You still won't be as bad as Derby, but you'll go down... hopefully fighting like we did.

I wish I could be classed as a gloryhunter.

Hopefully the rumours of us signing Keogh have some substance then...

Ellington to Derby. :clap2: :clap2: :celb: :celb:

I thought this too but they seem to be heavily linked with him despite having 2 top class DM - i dont think Hargreaves has impressed Fergie that much has had a few problems with timekeeping if i rememeber correctly, fergie hates that, think he could be a wildcard signing for someone in the Prem this summer. Do man u really need anyone? They need another striker definitely...and I'd think about replacing Van Der Saar if I was Fergie too. 1. Fergie has clarified that the Hargreave late story was nonsense. 2. Ben Foster is more than capable to replace VDS. I think Man U needs a specialist right back who could also deputise in left back position. Isn't Foster rather injury prone? And yeah I agree about them needing a right back (they can keep their scummy hands off Beye though ) Just one bad injury really, which has dragged on. Fozzie is amazing, much better than that flapping midget Lee.

Fair enough, but having seen some of these lads play, you cant help but be impressed. Most of them live near me too (thats irrelevant but i just had to throw it in). You're right though, Southampton also have (or had) a very good youth set-up. They've still got some coming through, Lallana, Mills, Thomson, White and others are apparently good talents and will be making an impact on the first team over the next couple of years, with bigger things ahead, so I'm told.
