Carroll was scoring loads at reserve level at 18/19 wasn't he? I remember there being a little bit of a buzz about him at the time.
-
Lots of pace, has a powerful shot on him too as I remember. Assuming this is the one who was at Real Zaragoza for ages?

The Whelan phone call was just a superb semi-professional actor.

No Shaun, why don't you just fuck off. The guy is entitled to having a break from feeling drained in the recent years by money grabbing dickheads that take something you have true feelings for and continually batter it at every opportunity. If you're sat there and not feeling a thing over this then maybe it's you that needs to fuck off up the road. Arrogant prick.

Even if we signed N'Zogbia.. we still wouldn't have a striker!

Is Mike Ashley the worst person ever to have been associated with NUFC?

Wrong I (and suspect many others) will be watching closely how much of that 35M is reinvested back in the team. By the way, I'm curious where do you get the impression that he likes to sell players and that he keeps the money to himself. So far, under him we've had reasonably good transfer windows (summer and January). Players like Coloccini, HBA, Tiote, Enrique (?) were all bought under him and have been very good buys. This is the first time I would say we had a s*** trasfer window and even then not so much because Carroll went off but coz we did not get any replacements in. The Carroll deal has been in place longer than just 2pm yesterday. Also, they had a fucking month! It's pathetic the squad we now have. 4 senior strikers on the books, all of them turboshit. -

Regardless what 'syndrome' you think it is, we're stuck with the fat prick. We've got no choice but to just see what happens because we can't leave this club. I wish I could to be honest, this morning I just can't get my head around why the fuck this happened. A lot of shit went down. -
HAHAHHAHAH WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!
-
Can't this hurry the fuck up? I want to go to bed.
-
A few papers / journos were saying that we don't have an option to buy at the end of the season yesterday and earlier today... What a farce.

Charlie Adam staying at Blackpool. FUCKING BLACKPOOL!

Liverpool are fucking signing everyone today!

So.. he's not replied then? My cousins sitting in a bar in Cobh at this moment with his old man and nothin has reached there yet to say the deal is off. Haha with you, makes a lot more sense Be disappointed if this doesn't go through.

It gets to the stage where you just can't turn down an offer once it hits a certain amount. Wouldn't be surprised if we'll reject any offers unless we manage to get some shitty replacement in... then things would change.

HANG TIGHT ASHLEY! HANG TIGHT!!!

So.. he's not replied then?
-
He looks like he's straight out of the 80s.
-
Is he premiership-class yet?

Isn't Crumpy normally in the loop with things like this? At a total guess, he knows the lads' father due to earlier posts.
-
In what way? I think he could've made a decent enough go of it if he had been given full support from the board.

Definitely, they were terrible. I'd say injuries & suspensions played a big part in that, but that's not really an acceptable excuse in football. What I find impressive though is that bar the odd exception (which will always happen, I remember people demanding that Keegan quit about 6 games in because we hadn't won yet) the vast majority of fans still had faith that he'd turn it around. Inevitably, Pardew will go on a bad losing run like that. I'm curious to know how much time he'll be given.. by both the fans and the management.

Too bad that Blackpool lost 2-3 then, spoke too soon mate The point is not where they are in the table, even now there is so much movement in the table positions. Wait a few more matches, these same teams could be in the bottom half fighting off relegation. 2 questions are relevant though 1) If our objective is to survive our first season back, should we be beating (or at least drawing) the likes of Stoke, Blackpool and Blackburn at home - the answer is yes 2) Has our form improved against these sort of teams (outside top 4-6) since Pardew took over - answer is yes too Under Hughton we had some great wins against the likes of Arsenal, and yes 3 points are 3 points against anyone, but if our objective is to secure safety and survive our first season back, then it's far more important not to be losing/dropping points against teams that are likely to be also fighting for the same position as us. We owe Hughton for bringing us back to the Premiership so convincingly, but the losses against the teams mentioned above will always remain a blemish on his record and no amount of twisting or turning from you or any of his fan club members is gonna change that. I'm out of here The bottom 3 in the premiership are Wolves, Wigan and West Ham.. we didn't lose to any of them. We may have dropped some points over the season, but we didn't look like we were going to be in as much trouble as some other teams down there currently are. Ultimately we'll never know what would have happened if Hughton hadn't been sacked.. and fair play to Pardew for getting some of the results that he has. Fact remains that the 3 teams we didn't want to lose lose against failed to beat us however. Maybe finishing off teams like Stoke when we had the chance we've kept Hughton in a job. But I doubt it.

No quotes, no point in my opinion.
