Wilson and Barnes will be a double sub at some point.

I would love to see the rest of that scorecard.

exciting! Big fan of Les Mis.

Itās not a new thing. There have been numerous arguments on here in the past about only local fans being ārealā fans, or those who go to the games actually count. It isnāt anything that is NUFC specific. All canvases have a level of tribalism and a good percentage of idiots that come in varying degrees. Sports and football in particular is as polarising as politics.

Iād say 35 is about right. His end product isnāt massive and heās not an international. Would I like it to be higher? Absolutely. I can see why it wouldnāt be though.
-
Heās a piece of shit. Was bang to rights of assault but found not guilty by a Liverpool-based jury.

Calf is bigger than his quad!

āHi LCFC, we would like to buy a player from youā āWe want more money than what you are offeringā *scene missing* LCFC CFO joins NUFC

Fair enough, agree to disagree on the place then. I personally really liked the parts Iāve visited. Agree about the traffic though.

I was close to moving over to SA and was going to be in the Antara (?) compound in Riyadh I think. Had a look around, it was brilliant.
-
Where did you stay when you lived there mate?
-
What do you think living there would be like? Heād be in a compound with all the other millionaire footballers, living a life of luxury. His quality of life would far exceed anything heās had before now. Things are changing very fast in Saudi. I live in the UAE and there are churches and synagogues popping up more and more. Itāll take a little time, but it wonāt be long before the more orthodox regions follow suit.

Yeah and I 100% appreciate that sales will need to be made, that the team will change and evolve and that sometimes you have to sacrifice a player to improve. My issue is the posts that are becoming more and more common of people saying to just sell player X, Y or Z for the sake of bringing in someone else. We have only a handful of ālegacyā players that would bring in any kind of fee. That doesnāt mean that we necessarily cut and run at the first opportunity.

I agree. Itās mind boggling how many people want to carve up a successful team that has bonded and achieved two massive things that literally have not been seen in almost a generation - a cup final and CL qualification. But nah, ship them out to buy someone else. Theyāre not good enough. As aboveā¦ buy first and then move on. This is a long term project.

One way of putting it is that the local approach to parenting is somewhat hands off. I work in a British curriculum school over here, and it is fairly high profile, meaning that it has a pretty large Emirati population with a large portion of these being VIPs in a certain age group. The boys in particular can be a nightmare and because of their status they get away with a lot in comparison to the general student population which is on the whole excellent. this isnāt, of course the case with all local children, but it is certainly a different approach to parenting than what she would see in the west. now thatās all Iāve seen. You see a lot of celebrities over here, but you will see the football is mostly in Dubai as opposed to Abu Dhabi. In answer to the first part of your post, most bars, restaurants and Cafes can be found in the many five star hotels and resorts all over Abu Dhabi and Dubai. as a result, it is not uncommon to spend your free time in one of the many hotels, as this is where the social spots are.

Eden Hazard was staying at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi the other week and itās a spot that i frequent. He was at the pool opposite me on one of the days and just loads of people were coming up. He was good about it, but he was with his wife and kids, bucket hat on to hide his face, felt a bit sorry for him. But then it got a bit sour. Some fat local Emirati kids started taunting him, saying that he wasnāt as good as Messi, Mbappe, Ronaldo etcā¦ he said to them that he didnāt understand what they were saying, but he definitely did. Must have touched a nerve because he got up and left 10 minutes later, taking the family with him. Imagine getting to the top of your profession and then mocked by a little fat kid whose heart would pop if he got up to a light jog.

whatās going on in the pic second right? ?

grown man ignores kids laughing at him. adult wears a football top. Therefore scum. Also bald.

With it being transfer season Iāve noticed it more and more and it isnāt really aimed at the people using it, more the nature of why itās usedā¦ ā¦but I absolutely hate the fact that people refer to targets as āpurplesā. Solely because it only exists because that odious prick Lambeezy used it as a reason to not improve our squad at the time by categorising our players by colours. We canāt have too many āpurplesā. Fuck off you cunt.

Are there any other notable examples of an uncapped player in their primary position become a bit of a joke before completely learning a new position in their mid 20s and getting capped by their nationā¦ and scoring? Just incredible really.
-
He's definitely more present than other assistant head coaches. Nothing wrong with that. I wouldn't say the trend of these accounts jumping on a meme bizarre. It makes sense if their sole purpose is to get likes, follows and re-tweets. It certainly works.

reading the replies, whatās the burglar story all about? It canāt be that he literally watched his lass get scuttled by a burglar through a window, surely? ?
-
Surprised the odious pricks aren't eyeing up wor Eddie.

maybeā¦ I think for me itās the chalked off goals that really should have stood or the penalties not awarded. Weāve had a few rubs of the green ourselves of course but there was a disproportionate period of about 4 games in a row we were getting robbed. missed sitters and the like I donāt get too bothered about.
