  1. Isn't his girlfriend from Newcastle?
  2. Trouble is that what you saw on the teamsheet today was pretty much all we have. When we get some long term injuries (and we definitely will - we always do) there'll be no-one but inexperienced youth players to plug the gap and I'd rather not take that risk. We've had a good start to the season and a bad stretch of results could ruin any possible chance of an early return to the premiership.
  3. Probably push R.Taylor up and play Simpson RB. Wouldn't be surprised to see Geremi play out wide though in Bartons' pace.
  4. This is Readings first away loss since January. St James Park could be a fortress this season, hah.
  5. Despite two good performances I don't know how we'll deal with the Owls. They're a close-knit team and are really passionate. This'll be a cup final for them, I know loads of Wednesday fans heading up for this one.
  6. Shola and Carroll linked up well at times I thought. Both suffer from inconsistencies at times though.
  7. Moyes denied having any interest in signing Steven Taylor earlier..

    RIP sale thread.

Anyone see when we scored and moat was stood up clapping and ashley and llambias exchanged that glance, shaking hands behind moat?
  9. I wouldn't be surprised if he did well at Fulham.
  10. Its the aviva ad heza, just youtube it or something.
  11. Nah its because we're such a long way away. Could be worse.
  12. Yeah this is a fair analysis. He was good but somewhat giddy, which could lead to mistakes. He just needs experience, which will only come with time games I guess. Very good prospect though. FYP Haha yeah cheers.

    RIP sale thread.

Yeah but there's nothing else. I'm confident that there certainly won't be a budget for transfers available and the coaching staff is at a bare minimum as it is. We have 3 coaches, one being Paul Barron the GK coach as I'm aware. One of these coaches is also the interim manager. The whole thing is a farce.
  15. Wouldn't you be against it since he's ex AC Milan? He's clearly a young talent but I thought AC and Inter fans hated the idea of having a player of the opposition.
  16. And then there was the whole Luque feud.
  17. That makes sense I guess Nicky. Cheers for explaining.
  18. I'm sure they announced that he'd signed before the Saturday match tho with him posing in their shirt. I'd understand if he hadn't signed officially til then and I was expecting them to do that.. this is just a slap in the face almost.
  19. I think that their argument is that the suspension is carried on from last season so the 2nd half of the suspension would therefore.. actually no, it makes no sense. I tried but no.
  20. I rate Reading higher than I do West Brom as a team but saying that I haven't really paid attention to them since they got relegated in the 07/08 season. Are they nothing much to shout about now?
  21. This implies that you've been with more than two girls, which can't be true. There's no thread about it in general chat.
  22. On the other hand we could get a manager that hasn't been out of the game for a while.. Assuming this has any legs - that it probably doesn't - how hard can it be for Ashley to negotiate with a contract with a manager from the here and now, not yesteryear?
  23. What about the soft goals that Harper lets in, in the meantime? You're always going to get soft goals but Harper has experience on his side at least. Kruls head is more likely to drop if he lets in some howlers than Harper.
