From start to finish, other than a couple of short spells we deserved that. Our first final in 55 years and we've actually deserved every second of it, I'm absolutely buzzing.

I've not been this worried about a semi since I watched Brokeback Mountain for the first time.

The one positive I can take from watching Denmark in this tournament is that they were blowing out their arse in the last game, luckily for them so were the Czechs. If we do win this one it's likely to be in the final 3rd of the 90 when our superior fitness at this point will make a play.

This Spanish team are so silky with the ball, have probably the best array of passing skills in the tournament but can't score for shit. If they are to win its going in off someone's arse or penalties.

Quietly confident of this one, I know I'll be nervous as hell on Wednesday but given how we've just got better as the tournament has gone on, if we continue in the same vane then we'll have too much for Denmark.

There was a shot that was right down his throat in the second half, instead of just standing there and getting his gloves behind it for the catch, he jumped, but not even upwards, his legs just left the floor and he remained at the same height and he punched the ball away. Everything doesn't have to be some kind of Hollywood slow motion action save, that annoyed me. Plus he was definitely rattled after skinning that clearance. Other than that he's been pretty solid.

At least with Walker he recovers well, after Pickford screwed that clearance up he looked shook, made 2 or 3 mistakes shortly after.

I could probably agree with the Greece comparison in the early stages, especially the Scotland game, it was eye aids. We have got the capability of attacking teams with intent, but that doesn't win you tournaments. Having said that the last 2 games have been much more entertaining, although, as stated previously, not exactly total football we've attacked when we've needed to, defended well and not overstretched ourselves in the pursuit of total football. Rafa taught me that a proper game of chess can be as mentally enthralling as a KK blitz. Italy, for all their first half aggression against Belgium themselves shored up and sat back and shithoused their way to a boring last 30 minutes, because they knew that would get them to a semi final.

Our only weak link is Pickford, he showed again last night he has a howler in him.

We were horrific in the group stage, even I didn't want to watch us play but as the tournament has gone on we've shown a little more adventure, kept the ball well, defended excellently and given the opposition no chance. Its not total football but its harsh to say we've been boring, we weren't against Germany and we were far from it tonight.

This is more like it!

Can't take any game for granted, ask France, ask England when they played Iceland, I just hope they've learned from that and stay grounded. We should be too good for them but International football is such fine margins these days.

It definitely seems a pressure tactic to get the PL to fold before arbitration, that doesn't mean they aren't confident of a positive result, they'd much rather get it done without the need of the additional waiting time of an arbitration and the possibility of a bent judge with some bias skewing the information to fit an agenda.

Blew Belgium away in the first half. Managed out the rest of the game perfectly, including a masters degree in shithousery, untouchable.

Feels like they're happy just to soak it up until the final whistle now.
